Unfortunately, the scent disappears once you're done showering. I can't really tell about its cleansing effectiveness or hydration benefits. If you're into chocolate scents, you might be better off using the body butter instead of this product.

I fell in love with the chocolate scent of this body butter and bought it. The fragrance is delightful when showering. If you're a fan of chocolate scents, you'll likely enjoy your shower experience.
