I asked my husband to buy this after searching for a moisturizing formula. It's a matte-textured cream that loses its mattifying effect when applied with the hands. The floral scent lasts quite a long time. I've been using it during this transitional weather season. I apply a bit more in the evenings, but then wake up a bit oily the next day... Haha In the mornings, I just apply a small amount and then follow up with a moisturizing cream before makeup - this helps the moisture last a bit longer.

At first, I used the cream type and liked it, so I repurchased it. Then in the summer, I bought the gel type again. Even though I have extremely sensitive skin, I was able to use the entire Chanel hydrating line, from the essence to the mist, without any trouble. However, the whitening line caused me breakouts. To be honest, I can't use most cosmetics, but this one is a real godsend for me! It's so trouble-free, has a nice fragrance, and is generally great, so I've been using it consistently for 3 years now (even though I've tried switching to other products, I always come back to this one). So I don't even need it to be that dramatic - just the fact that it doesn't cause me any trouble is already a blessing!
Cons
The store staff recommended that I should have bought the cream type instead of the gel type. The cream type seems better than the gel type, which feels a bit like it's just sitting on the surface. And while it's not as dramatic as I had hoped, it's still not quite a holy grail product for me. But it doesn't irritate my skin at all, so I always end up coming back to it.

The fragrance is... quite decent. The case is pretty, so I was tempted. It's very moisturizing at first. But the long-lasting effect is not there.
