I was looking for a powder that goes on lightly without feeling heavy, and I've tried several department store brand powders, but I couldn't find a product that goes on the face as finely as this one.. And it goes on transparently and lightly, so it's great for controlling oil after applying foundation. The longevity isn't extremely long, but it holds up reasonably well, and I'm very satisfied with it ㅎㅎ The makeup doesn't clump either ㅎㅎ
ConsThe built-in puff is really not great. You definitely need to purchase a brush and use that instead...ㅋㅋㅋ
TipI'm in the 17~21 shade range and have a cool skin tone, and I'm using the Soft Porcelain color, which matches my skin tone well and goes on transparently!

It also has decent lasting power.
ConsMy skin is dry, so it's too dry for me except in the summer. I need to use a brush or a puff that suits me, as the included puff is not very good.

ConsThe puff is really not great, and you have to roll it well with a brush on the areas that need coverage. The plastic cover is inconvenient.

It's not too powdery, so it applies comfortably. I'd say it just gently absorbs the oil.
ConsThe puff I used together was not great at all. I don't use puffs much, but this one felt like it was leaving too much behind.
TipYou have to apply it in a circular motion with the brush around the edges. Otherwise, it gets on the case and becomes a nuisance.

Using the Innisfree powder made my face turn red and affected my skin... I experienced a lot of breakouts, with clogged pores on the sides of my nose, forehead, etc. But when I tried the Bobbi Brown powder, I didn't get a single blemish or pimple!!!
ConsThe puff is extremely uncomfortable, and the container is too fragile and easily breaks.
TipAs it can be drying, it's best to apply it only lightly on the T-zone area.

Applies lightly like a transparent powder. I've been using this powder for 5 years and nothing else. It covers even the smallest pores well and controls oil effectively.
ConsThe case mirror doesn't open fully, which is very inconvenient. It only opens 90 degrees, making it very difficult to apply makeup. There's no built-in transparent plastic handle, so it's very hard to take out. When using the powder, it can get mixed with other cosmetics, causing the color to fade and the powder to clump.

It immediately absorbs excess oil and leaves a fluffy, lightweight finish.
ConsThe puff... The existing puff tends to cake on top of foundation. Even when you dab it on lightly, it ends up looking too rough and unpleasant. I'd recommend switching to a denser, softer puff instead.
TipAh, when my skin is really oily, I'd recommend picking up a lot of product and gently patting it on. But if you do that, the pores can look more pronounced and the makeup can start to cake.

It doesn't clump and I'm just applying it to the T-zone, which seems fine.
ConsI'm not sure if it's applying well or not. Also, the cushion is too thin and I don't know how to use it properly.
TipPlease teach me some tips! I don't know how to use the brush properly. :(

Not only does my makeup become compromised, but the makeup also transfers onto my hands. Even right after applying my makeup, it can start transferring. To prevent this, I purchased this product - the Bobbi Brown Sheer Finish Pressed Powder! 1. Ingredients This product doesn't contain ingredients that are harmful for oily skin, such as stearic acid and ethylhexyl methoxycinnamate. I felt relieved about this. In reality, I also didn't experience any breakouts. The ingredients passed the test. 2. Skin Expression & Transfer I apply this powder directly over my base makeup. Not only does it make my skin feel velvety smooth, but it also gives my skin a very silky and refined appearance. It makes my skin look beautifully soft and smooth. This is a great product in terms of skin expression. When I apply it, the makeup transfer issue is resolved. It doesn't completely prevent transfer, but it does delay the oil buildup and the resulting transfer. 3. Longevity & Makeup Fixation The longevity is also quite good. After applying it, my makeup stayed intact for over 7 hours, except for the T-zone area which is the most oily part of my face. The product seems to prevent overall makeup breakdown. The fixation is so good that my makeup appears almost untouched, except for the T-zone.
ConsThe puff and the plastic cover over the powder are not great. The puff is very inconvenient to use, and I can't just throw away the plastic cover since it protects the powder from dust. But the plastic is also difficult to remove each time. As I mentioned, this product doesn't completely eliminate the makeup transfer issue. The makeup fixation is strong, so there's no visible breakdown, but if I touch my face after wearing it for a long time, there is still significant transfer. Luckily, the transfer isn't very noticeable. The worst part is that it doesn't work well for touch-ups on the oily areas. If I apply more powder on the areas where oil starts to show, like the T-zone, it just gets cakey and stuck in my pores. I don't know why, but once it cakes up, the only solution is to scrape it off with my fingers. Reapplying the base product just makes the cakiness more pronounced, so I'm left with no choice but to either wipe off that area and redo my makeup, or manually remove the cakey powder.
TipThe price is a bit on the higher side, but the product's effectiveness makes it worth the cost. I feel it's reasonably priced for the quality. And one important tip - this product should always be applied with a powder brush. The one I use is the Real Techniques Powder Brush.

I brush it on lightly with the large brush, and the particle size is different. Even though the Make Up For Ever HD powder claims to be transparent, it still leaves a slightly kabuki-like feeling, and I feel like I'm using too much. Out of the three, I like the Bobbi Brown powder the best - the benefits of the powder and the loose powder (for sebum control) are well-balanced.
ConsThe price is bad :( And this isn't separated into a puff and powder, but just a thin disposable film, so if you keep using the same puff, the powder will eventually absorb the excess oil left on the puff, and I really don't like that.
