Pros
It was lightweight and absorbed quickly. I didn't feel my face pulling even when I just applied this.

It's too watery and drips a lot. Compared to other essences, it seems relatively thin in consistency. I didn't see much of a whitening effect.

It absorbs quickly It's lightweight After using it for just a day, my skin got damaged I have nothing good to say about it

I experienced blisters, oozing, and even bleeding on my face when using this product in the winter. My skin became rough and I had to go to a dermatologist to get a prescription. It has a moisturizing and lightweight feel. I'm not sure about the whitening effect yet, but I bought it because I had seen results with the tomato line before.

Pros
This is absolutely great. I'm starting to gain more trust in Skinfood these days. This is the second time I've purchased a Skinfood product. I tried the sample of the Royal Honey Essence that I received, and I was like, 'Whoa, what is this?' The finish has a plump, supple feel, and it's hydrating enough that I don't need to apply a separate cream. I really liked this aspect. Just using the essence alone, my skin doesn't feel dry, but it's not overly oily either. Not applying a cream also makes my face feel lighter... I'm satisfied with the lack of breakouts and the finish.
Cons
The whitening effect seems a bit disappointing. It's not that there's no effect, but my skin is only brightening up a little bit at a time. However, when I wake up in the morning, my skin is much whiter. But after washing my face, it goes back to my original skin tone. Haha. There are some acne scars, but I think I'll see the effects if I use it for a long time.

The texture is very watery, but it has a bit of oiliness to it I think it would actually be quite moisturizing for dry skin types ^^

It applies nicely and lightly! There's none of that heavy, cloying feeling, and the overall tone is clean and fresh.
Cons
The pumping action is good, but it feels a bit off somehow... You have to press down firmly for it to come out properly - if you just lightly press, it squirts in the wrong direction... The smell is also really cheap, so it was a bit of a shock at first.
