I bought this product because my face got quite tanned from walking outdoors a lot, since I couldn't go to the gym due to COVID. It claims to have IPL effects, and I think that's why my complexion seems a bit brighter after using it. I have super sensitive skin, and this product feels a bit tingling when I use it. Also, after using it, my skin feels very dry, so I need to make sure I use a serum or hydrating moisturizer. As my skin gets drier, I feel like I'm seeing more fine lines too. The product instructions say to start using it once a week to adjust, then increase to three times a week. However, I'm only using it about once a week. I feel like using it too often might thin out the skin and cause wrinkles due to dryness. - 10******Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMay 23, 2021
Excellent at removing dead skin cells, it makes my once-dry skin feel as smooth as if I've had a professional treatment. I usually use it at 180 degrees, and using it once a week really makes a noticeable difference in my skin condition. It's great! It's a bit inconvenient having to use both the red and white steps. Depending on your skin condition, Step 1 can be quite tingling and irritating. The process of waiting 10 minutes before finishing with Step 2 is bothersome, which discourages consistent use. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinSep 8, 2019
At first, it feels like a whole new world! That's how effective it is. But the more you use it, the more ordinary it becomes... It's quite strong and irritating! I've been using BHA 2% consistently, but even I found this too harsh. Also, it's a bit of a hassle having to wait after the first step before applying the second step. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedApr 12, 2019
After using it, I can definitely feel my skin improving with a noticeable glow and smoothness It can be a bit tingling, and sometimes causes redness like a flush that you have to wait out until it calms down When you use up the leftover product on your elbows or heels, they become wonderfully smooth - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedApr 6, 2019
The 180-degree line gives a harmonious feeling to the skin overall The relatively high price could be an issue. It would be nice if there were physical stores selling it - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedNov 18, 2018
When I first used it, it really stung! It felt like tiny glass shards on my skin. Both the first and second pads tingled, but the next day my skin felt hydrated and smooth. I've been using the 180-degree renewed product for a month now. For about three weeks, it was peeling off dead skin cells, and I thought this month was going well. However, after applying the peel, I noticed some flaking around my lips the next day. I was worried about some potentially harmful ingredients, but it worked well even for me with super sensitive skin prone to blemishes, dehydration, and oiliness. Lately, I've been hearing compliments that my skin has a nice glow. I'm hoping it will also be effective for brightening! Oh, and the prep ampoule is absolutely fantastic! The stinging sensation and the small amount of product are the main drawbacks. But honestly, I had to really stretch to find any negatives. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedOct 5, 2018
A couple of days after using it, I notice my skin feels softer and smoother. The pad's texture is a bit rough, so it stings when wiping the skin. The AHA peel itself is also somewhat tingling, causing some irritation. Given its high price, I left it on for about 5 minutes like a mask after gently patting it in, instead of discarding it immediately. When removing, avoid rubbing too hard - it can hurt! It might be a bit of extra effort, but using a galvanic device after the AHA peel gives much better results. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSep 27, 2018
I really liked the effects of the 180-degree set, but I'm not sure about this one. I tried using this because I heard it works well with the 180-degree product, but I can't really tell if it's effective. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinJul 27, 2018
It stung terribly at first, and seemed to show results the next day. However, in subsequent uses, the irritation outweighed any benefits. Due to the questionable ingredients, I've completely stopped using it now. To those writing reviews here claiming not to be Nu Skin distributors... please stop. It's unpleasant to see. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMay 31, 2018
I've been using this for my severe redness, and it has improved significantly. As it's my first time, I've been using it once a week for a month now. My complexion has definitely gotten better. There's a slight tingling sensation, but I think that's because it's my first time using it.
