Excellent moisturizing power. The product has a velvety texture and is fragrance-free, so it can be used comfortably without irritation during dry seasons. Pros
- As a dry and sensitive-skinned person, this seems to be the only cosmetic product that provides high moisture effects without irritation. Especially in the winter, parts of my face would become so dry that flaky skin would even appear around the laugh lines. I've tried using high-moisture lotions and even Vaseline, but the effects were only temporary. However, when I used the L'Occitane Shea Butter that was gifted to me, I was amazed at how moisturized my skin felt the next morning. It's as if my skin was replenished with the right balance of oil and moisture.... It can be applied to the face, and can also be used as a lip balm!
Cons
The biggest downside is that the quantity is too small. It's almost comically mini in size.

This is a versatile product It can be used all over the body, and when used like a soothing balm on top of makeup, it is not irritating and feels great It can also be mixed with body lotion to get through the harsh winter, and it has so many great uses

I received a mini-sized sample and used it. This product is not used often except in the winter, as I have oily skin. The product is very efficient in terms of usage amount. Even when using a very small amount, the cream-type and heavy texture allows for sufficient application to the desired area. Due to the good ingredients, the product can be used without irritation even on sensitive skin days. I climbed Mount Halla this past winter without a mask, and my skin remained moisturized throughout the bitterly cold winds. Even though I was exposed to the cold air for 10 hours, my face never felt dry. I believe the moisturizing power of this product is the best I've ever tried.

I was suffering from severe perioral dermatitis around my lips, and the doctor recommended this product to me. At the time, the lip balm I was using wasn't helping because it contained preservatives, so I bought this instead. Now I can't imagine getting through the winter or summer without it. It definitely doesn't irritate the skin around my lips and mouth, and my perioral dermatitis has improved a lot, so I'm living a normal life!!! I think this is even better than Vaseline.
Cons
The pricing for the small and large sizes is a bit ambiguous. Buying the large one is too big... and a bit inconvenient to carry around. It's also a bit tricky to use hygienically. Just like how your skin feels like it's splitting apart when your extremely dry winter skin isn't quenched by oil moisturizers alone, melting this L'Occitane Shea Butter and mixing it into the last step of your skincare routine will keep your skin hydrated all day long. It's a true holy grail product for me. I have sensitive skin, so using unrefined shea butters usually causes my skin to turn red and react like an allergy. But the L'Occitane Shea Butter is a refined, purified version, so it absorbs into my skin gently without any irritation. Since I have dry skin, I mix foundation with oils when doing my makeup. In the winter, I melt a bit of this shea butter and mix it in, and it makes my skin look so much more glowing and healthy compared to just using oils alone. It makes my skin look so dewy and glassy, and even men who don't know much about makeup say my skin looks so nice when I just use this shea butter!
