ProsI've been trying out the Reset Serum set recently. I bought two sets and each came with two 30ml samples. The texture is watery and absorbs well, so I'm actually using it as a toner replacement despite its name.
It's a bit confusing because while the product is called an essence, the sample is labeled as an emulsion. I thought it was a different product at first. For some reason, L'Occitane often has slight discrepancies between their official website names and product labels (like their Shea Butter Lip Balm being labeled as Ultra Lip Balm on the product).
Anyway, even as someone who hates stickiness, I'm very satisfied with how fresh and hydrating it feels. It's especially nice that the moisturizing effect comes from hydration rather than oils, so I think it could be really effective for those with deep dryness. It doesn't cause any blemishes or excess oiliness, so I'm quite happy using it these days.
Oh, and the scent of this Divine line has a bit of an herbal feel to it. I actually use the Divine cream like it's a tonic, so I think the fragrance might be hit or miss for some people.
ConsI've noticed some pilling when I apply makeup over it, so I mainly use it in my evening routine.
