While it removes most makeup effectively, it struggles with waterproof mascara. I have to pre-treat with oil before using this, which is a bit inconvenient.

This point makeup remover doesn't have any special formulation, but its cleansing effectiveness is truly outstanding. It removes mascara, lip color, and eyeliner all at once without causing any irritation to the skin. What's really amazing is that even if it gets into your eyes while using it, you don't feel any discomfort. It works hard to remove makeup gently. Please make a larger size available! I really enjoyed using this product, but is Skinfood really going out of business? There's no makeup remover quite like this one! I must have gone through over 10 bottles already. It completely removes eye makeup - the cleansing effectiveness is top-notch. Plus, it doesn't sting my eyes and has a pleasantly subtle scent. With its affordable price, I won't be switching to any other remover. There's nothing to complain about. I'm just writing this review because I want to recommend it! Pour a suitable amount onto a cotton pad, but don't wipe immediately. It's so gentle that I can even apply it around my eyes without much tingling. It removes makeup cleanly and effectively, so I use it frequently. After wiping, there's a slightly uncomfortable residue left, so I tend to follow up with a face wash. It effectively removes all types of eyeliner and mascara without leaving any residue. It's gentle on the eyes, causing no irritation or stinging sensation. The fragrance is absolutely delightful! It's the kind of scent that makes you want to keep using the product. There's a subtle rose aroma that's just lovely. The container has this charming antique look, which adds to its appeal. It's designed with separate layers, but when mixed, it applies so smoothly. And of course, its makeup removal effectiveness is beyond question. Thanks to the oil content, it gently and effectively removes makeup. Given Skinfood's current situation, I'm not sure if we'll be able to use their products long-term. I really loved Skinfood's unique charm. Also, the container's opening makes it tricky to control the amount dispensed. While it doesn't exactly gush out, it tends to dispense more than needed, leading to wasteful use. The cleansing effectiveness is moderate to high, and it's gentle enough that it barely irritates even if it gets in your eyes. It's a solid, reliable choice for everyday use. If you're using curl-fix mascara, you'll need to cleanse 2-3 times to remove it completely. I use it by soaking two layers of cotton pads with the remover.
