The oil and moisture balance was just right. I personally noticed a noticeable brightening effect. The absorption isn't great. As a result, there are times when I end up applying it unevenly. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJul 5, 2018
My skin used to be so dry that even with a thorough skincare routine, exfoliation, and diligent mask application, it would constantly crack and flake. But since I started using this cream, all my skin concerns have vanished! My skin type has even shifted away from dry. This has become my holy grail cream! As far as I know, the offline stores that carry this are limited to LaLa Blah, and even then, some have it while others don't. Apart from the struggle to purchase it, I have no complaints! - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJun 16, 2018
Even after laser treatments, my skin would turn into a blemish field within two weeks. Despite drinking lots of water, I'd still get pimples due to dehydration. The hydration from this product is incredible. It has a typical men's skincare product scent. If you apply just enough to avoid stickiness, the effects are minimal. Once you feel the hydration, it becomes sticky. The ingredients could be better. I mix a small amount with my foundation when applying makeup. Be careful not to leave fingernail marks when applying. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinApr 2, 2018
As someone with combination to oily skin, I found this product particularly helpful during dry winter months. The next day, my skin felt noticeably more hydrated and moisturized. While it didn't apply as smoothly as an emulsion, I appreciated that the cream wasn't overly thick, making it pleasant to use. Given my oily skin type, I couldn't escape the slightly greasy feeling after application, even when my skin was dry. Moreover, it absorbs rather slowly, causing my hair to stick to my face frequently. I'm not entirely convinced about its value for money considering the price. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinMar 29, 2018
As someone with oily skin, I loved how this moisturized well without feeling sticky, leaving my skin feeling fresh and soft. My blemishes have significantly reduced, and people have even commented on how clear my skin looks now. The absorption could be better. I found myself applying more than necessary or having to mix it with other products to dilute it, which was a bit inconvenient. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinJul 7, 2017
I discovered this soothing hydration cream while searching for a solution after another cream made my face itchy and irritated. For the first three days, it stung so much I could cry! But gradually, I noticed my skin becoming visibly softer and returning to normal. When I apply this, my face even seems to brighten a bit! Be careful, as it can sting terribly when your skin is super sensitive. Despite claims of being deeply hydrating, I feel a slight tightness. It doesn't seem to moisturize deep down, but rather sits on the surface. I've found patting it on works better than spreading it - that helps a bit. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinMay 8, 2017
I used to struggle with insufficient hydration, but since using this product, I don't find myself searching for other moisturizers anymore. Since I've only been using it for a short time, I haven't noticed any whitening or regenerative effects yet. I'll need to use it a bit longer to see those results. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinApr 26, 2017
As someone with combination skin - oily T-zone and dry U-zone - and super sensitive skin, I absolutely adore this product! I'm almost finished with it, and only now did I think to check its ingredients on Hwahae. Surprisingly, it contains quite a few ingredients that aren't typically recommended for sensitive skin. But for me, it works wonders! Unlike heavy, oily nourishing creams, this one absorbs completely no matter how much I apply. What I love most is when I layer it twice before bed - it's like using a sleeping mask. The next morning, my skin texture is incredibly smooth with a beautiful glow. The only downside is the packaging - I wish it came in a tube for more hygienic use. I have to quickly scoop out the product and snap the lid shut to prevent dust from getting in (it's a bit stressful). Also, the price is a bit steep... For my combination skin, here's my routine: Before makeup, I generously apply it to my dry cheeks, then lightly pat any excess on my forehead and nose. This helps control shine even hours after applying makeup. At night, I double-layer it like a sleeping pack, and wake up to silky-smooth skin the next morning. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinApr 7, 2017
I thought this product might be good for my dull and dry skin, so I decided to try it out at Pan*ra. It's supposed to be great for brightening and anti-aging, which is why I splurged 42,000 won (quite pricey for a student like me). The texture is similar to the Steam Cream from Nature*public that I've been using. While the Steam Cream might be more cost-effective, I've noticed a significant reduction in blemishes and small bumps since using this product. I have a lot of acne scars and texture, and I feel like they've faded a bit - just a little, though. Overall, I'm satisfied with this product as it provides moisture without feeling heavy on the skin. The scent is quite strong. Personally, I'm not a fan of strong fragrances, so this was a bit off-putting for me. In terms of value for money, I'd say it's average. The quantity feels a bit on the smaller side. I used the upside-down cleansing method with this, just like I did with the Steam Cream. While it's not something I do often in summer, I find it really beneficial during seasonal changes and winter. I highly recommend the upside-down cleansing method, and adding a massage routine could make it even more effective. - fl*****Combination SkinAcne SkinMar 23, 2017
I went to Watson's to buy a regenerating cream to apply after laser treatment at the dermatologist, and ended up purchasing this on the employee's recommendation. The texture feels rich and it seems to absorb well into the skin. When I checked the ingredients on Hwahae, I noticed it contains many components that aren't good for sensitive skin.
