CATRICE Moist mousse foundation

The coverage is incredibly good. I've even been told that my skin looks like an egg when I wear this. And it's perfect for oily skin like mine. I love the matte finish - it's the most velvety smooth of any foundation I've tried. I never need to use powder with this product. The pore coverage is also great, and the combination with the dedicated brush is just amazing.

I found that the oil tends to come through a bit faster than I expected. Sometimes when I apply it in that state, it can feel a bit dry. And a few times when my skin was drier, it would cling to flaky patches. If you don't have a solid skincare routine, it can emphasize texture. And the darkening gets pretty severe, especially in the summer - no matter how much I reapply, it just ends up looking almost like my natural skin tone. My friends say it makes me look healthy, but it's just too much for me. It's better in the winter, but the oxidation is just too noticeable the more I use it, so I've switched it out for something else a number of times.

Using the Catrice brush to apply this is just amazing. It really helps with the pore coverage. I've tried wedge sponges, dense brushes, and my fingers, but the Catrice dedicated brush is the best.

I bought it because it was said to be good for dry skin, and it seems to be good because it helps control the oil for dry skin.

When I applied it with a puff, the application was too thick because I couldn't control the amount well, so it looked like I was wearing a lot of makeup and I didn't want to use it. If you don't build a solid base, there can also be a caking effect.
