Pros
I've been using it since college. My eyes are sensitive to sunlight and tear up a lot, but other sunscreens sting my eyes every time, so no matter how good they are, I couldn't use them on my face. This is the only sunscreen I've tried that doesn't sting my eyes.
Cons
Hmm, the white cast...? But I didn't find it too bothersome. It's fine.
Tip
Mixing it with a moisturizer or oil works well when my skin is very dry. The base function may be somewhat reduced, but it's helpful.

I used to use the same sunscreen as my mom, and it was the Ohui sunscreen. The best thing about it was that it made my skin look whiter. The product has a green base, so when you apply it, it evens out your skin tone and makes your whole face look whiter!! It was especially effective in making my cheeks, which were a bit uneven due to acne, look more natural. I really liked how it didn't make my skin look oily or greasy. It had just the right amount of moisture. Another thing I liked was that the packaging dispenses the right amount of product each time.

When I started using Hwahae, I searched for this product and was shocked by the ingredients. The ingredients seemed really bad, and there were a lot of allergens. I lowered the rating because of the ingredients. So I quickly finished using the one I had and now I'm using the IOPE sunscreen. And because this sunscreen made my skin look whiter, if I used the recommended amount (about the size of a coin), my face would just look chalky. So I only used about half a fingertip's worth, but then it didn't seem to provide much sun protection, and I felt like I was barely wearing any sunscreen all summer.

Pros
I've been using this product consistently for the past 3 years! It comes in different shades for various skin tones, so you can use it as a makeup base. It makes your skin look brighter, as if your natural complexion is lighter. There's no darkening effect, so it's great for when you want to go for a bare-faced look. I tend to get oily in the T-zone after cleansing and applying makeup, so using rich sunscreens or heavy makeup can cause trouble in that area. That's why I just apply this product and use a bit of concealer on any other blemishes.
Cons
However, this may not be suitable for those with very dry skin, as the matte finish can make the skin appear cakey. The price is also on the higher side. If you find it inconvenient or uncomfortable to apply multiple products, or if you don't have many blemishes, this may not be the best option for you.

In addition to the white cast, I don't usually apply a lot of base products, but it feels extremely heavy. Even after applying the toner and essence, the cakiness is unbearable. Putting foundation on top of this would be unimaginable.
