When applying, smooth it on in circular motions, then press firmly onto areas with visible pores. Clean your fingertip with a tissue between applying to different areas to prevent pilling. Don't overdo it on the nose - use a moderate amount and set with powder after makeup application.

It doesn't cover nose pores well or control oil in that area. The texture is quite matte, so avoid if you're looking for a dewy finish.

While primers can't have perfect ingredients, this one seems to cause minimal irritation. It does a pretty good job covering pores in the T-zone and has decent staying power. When I wear a mask, my makeup usually fades around my nose and mouth due to breath moisture, but with this primer, it lasts much longer.

Apply a small amount and spread it well. If you apply too much, it can cause your foundation to clump and look messy.

It's fine when first opened, but after using about half, the product inside seems to solidify. This makes it less spreadable compared to when it was new.

When applied to the nose and surrounding areas before makeup, it covers pores and smooths the skin. I find this works better for me than the famous Benefit product. Clinique seems to leave a more matte finish compared to Benefit, which I prefer for my oily skin.

I've previously used foundations in this order: Benefit > Make Up For Ever > NARS (discontinued) x3 > MAC Studio Fix Stick > Addiction x2 > L'Oreal > Clinique. For wrinkle coverage, MAC and NARS products were the best. For pore coverage, NARS was best for the nose, while Addiction & L'Oreal were good for cheeks. However, Clinique performed best for cheek pores! Personally, Clinique also had the best longevity for me. As a side note, Benefit and Make Up For Ever products always looked cakey and felt dry no matter how I applied them, so they didn't make the cut. Hope this helps!

The coverage for pores around the nose area is slightly less impressive compared to other products. However, it's lightweight, doesn't float, and doesn't accentuate dead skin cells, so I can live with this minor drawback.

It doesn't clog pores while providing coverage, feels lightweight without floating, excels at covering pores on the cheeks, and boasts impressive longevity that lasts half a day without budging! Plus, it doesn't cause any blemishes, so I think I'll be sticking with Clinique for a while. I absolutely love it!

If you apply this product and finish with powder, you'll have no issues with pore coverage.

Unlike other primers that feel like they're clogging your pores, this one gives a sense of gently covering them, so it doesn't feel suffocating. The mini size makes it perfect for carrying around. It's great that it doesn't cause any blemishes.

While this might cover your pores, it can make your skin look a bit dull, making it hard to achieve that lively complexion. I used it because of old acne scars and loss of elasticity due to age. Use just a tiny amount - think 'eye booger' sized. If it's not enough, squeeze out the same amount again. If you use too much at once, you'll definitely have leftovers, and it looks more natural to apply it bit by bit. The more you use, the duller your skin will look.

If I had to nitpick, when my skin isn't in great condition, I feel like this might be causing some blemishes... I wish the ingredients were a bit better. But then again, it probably wouldn't cover pores as well, right? I'd like to find an alternative, but I'm not sure what yet. (If anyone knows a good one, please recommend! You'll be blessed!) After continued use, I've edited my review: Even though I don't use it often, I've noticed that when my skin isn't in good condition, using this definitely makes it worse. It seems like it's always been that way. So I only use it for emergencies now. I've changed my rating from 4 stars to 3. Also, if you leave it for a long time, it starts to solidify a tiny bit inside, changing the texture.

I've been alternating between this product and a similar one for a long time. (Honestly, the other one is better for blemishes, but it's not available these days. I'm using up my stash.) First off, this one is all about covering those pores! It also has a slight oil-absorbing effect. What more could you ask for when it comes to pore coverage? The volume might seem small at first, but it lasts forever!

The price? It's a bit high. If you apply too much, it can pill. But even a small amount works effectively!

It does an amazing job of covering pores! I've only tried this and the Banila Co primer, but if you apply a small amount on your nose and cheeks, it makes your skin feel powdery soft, like real porcelain skin! Sometimes when I'm in a rush to meet someone with a bare face and my skin looks oily after skincare, I just apply this and go out. It makes my skin look naturally flawless!

It tends to clump and pill when layered with other cosmetics. While it creates a smooth and matte surface, it can make the skin appear dry.

As a silicone-based pore primer, this is an absolute holy grail for those of us with large pores. I've tried every product out there claiming to be good for pores and oily skin... (I've collected all sorts of primers and loose powders from Benefit's Porefessional to mousse primers, Banila Co., Laura Mercier, etc., but ultimately settled on Clinique). I've been using it consistently for over 6 years. After finishing my skincare routine, I roll and press it into areas where pores are noticeable, and it really smooths them out!
