As someone with extremely oily skin, I find this product does a great job controlling excess oil and gives my skin a more refined texture. It even seems to brighten my complexion a bit! This product might be more suitable for summer than winter. While it's fine for my very oily skin, those with sensitive skin should be cautious. It can cause a tingling sensation, and I avoid using it on days when my blemishes are flaring up. Be careful not to get it in your eyes as it stings. The price seems a bit high, but other than that, I don't have any major complaints. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSep 14, 2016
I heard people say their skin got better after using this. Shook it really hard and patted it on. Am I the only one who feels rough? It's not just a smooth glide, but feels like there's some substance to it. It stings sometimes, and most of all, when I apply it around my eyes, I can't even open my eyes, it's so stinging. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinAug 4, 2015
I was using the Avène Gentle Toner, but I switched it up when summer came around, and it does seem to control oil better than the previous toner. It also stings a bit when I apply it around my eyes. Use this to smooth out your skin texture, and then gently pat another toner on top. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinJul 19, 2015
I have a sensitive and troubled skin. I use it to wipe off after cleansing. The previous one I used was a La Roche-Posay toner, which was extremely gentle but just so-so, like water. This product is definitely better at controlling sebum and the oily/shiny feeling. Since using this, the number of times I get acne has been gradually decreasing, which is great. It's not exactly a budget-friendly product. It does sting a bit if it gets in your eyes, I guess you could say it feels a bit stinging. You have to be careful to avoid getting it in your eyes when using it.
