After trying a sample, I decided to repurchase this product! It's moisturizing without feeling greasy, and I noticed my complexion brightened. While you should check the ingredients before buying, I've been using it without any issues. It's honestly the best cream I've used recently! The downside might be the price-to-performance ratio. Although I apply it thinly in the morning before makeup, I tend to slather it on generously at night. It's a bit on the pricey side. I found the best results when I applied this after hydrating my skin 4-5 times with another toner, though not quite the full 7-skin method. Applying it generously on my cheeks and forehead, then using the remainder on my nose and chin worked perfectly. It didn't leave my T-zone oily and provided just the right amount of moisture. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinMay 25, 2017
Well... I'm at a loss for words when asked to write about the good points, as there aren't any. There's absolutely no hydration. The instant complexion correction right after application makes me suspect it contains a small amount of makeup base ingredients. As a finishing cream, it feels heavy and leaves a thick, uncomfortable sensation on the skin. - uu*****Combination SkinMar 18, 2017
It gives your face such a dewy, glassy look~ Your skin appears so hydrated, it's like you're glowing from within! Why does my skin look dewy on the surface but feels dry underneath? I've got a ton of whiteheads popping up on my chin... I was waiting for my skin to brighten, but all I got were whiteheads. No matter how much I slather on, my skin still feels dry... Is it just because I'm getting older? If you're after that coveted 'glass skin' effect, this might be worth trying - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinFeb 9, 2017
I found this perfect for when a regular moisturizer isn't hydrating enough, but rich creams feel too oily. It's as light as a hydrating lotion, yet keeps my skin feeling moisturized without excessive oiliness. Love it! It's a bit too light for winter use on its own. For context, I have combination dehydrated skin with deep dryness underneath and oily surface. My T-zone gets shiny while my U-zone stays dry. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinMay 28, 2016
After working out, I just apply this and my skin feels so hydrated. I'm not sure if it actually brightens my skin. I'm open to trying creams from other lines. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinApr 29, 2016
First off, I love that it doesn't make my skin overly shiny. Even better, it doesn't trigger blemishes. My skin is dehydrated but usually can't absorb moisturizers well. I struggled to find a suitable cream, but I'm now on my third jar of this one and it's working wonders. The price is a bit steep. It would be nice if they increased the quantity. Oh, and a word of advice: open it right after purchase. I once bought one and found the protective seal slightly opened when I got home. This seems more like a seller integrity issue rather than a problem with the product itself. Don't be shy, apply it generously! - Hwahae UserOily SkinApr 10, 2016
I tried Laneige's whitening line after liking their hydration products. The toner and emulsion are nice, and the cream doesn't irritate my skin at all. Overall, it's pretty good. While I used it all up, I'm not reaching for a repurchase. It's pricier than other drugstore brands. As someone with oily skin, using the toner, emulsion, and cream together makes my face too greasy. I think just using the toner, essence, and emulsion would be better. - re********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinOct 11, 2015
In my 20s, I heard advice to focus solely on hydration and moisture rather than anti-aging or whitening products. I stuck to basic skincare with hydrating lines, but as I approached my late 20s, my complexion started to look dull depending on my condition. That's when I first tried the Laneige Tone-Up line. The texture is refreshing and absorbs quickly, making it perfect for busy mornings! The scent isn't overwhelming, so even those with sensitive skin can use it. I love how the case has an extra protective cap inside the lid, which feels like it's keeping those active ingredients from evaporating. Since it's a functional cream focused on brightening, it's noticeably less hydrating compared to other moisturizers. Many reviews claim it's hydrating despite being a brightening cream, but having only used hydrating lines before, I find it quite drying. It's also on the pricier side for its size. Mixing in oils during winter is a common tip. But for sensitive souls like me who break out from just any oil, that's hardly helpful advice! I've decided to skip using it in winter and instead slather it on generously in summer. - Hwahae UserOily SkinJul 12, 2015
It's not sticky at all, feels wonderfully moisturizing, and I absolutely love it! I'm so satisfied with this product that I'd call it my holy grail. I'm using it with great pleasure! There's not much to complain about, except that I go through it quickly because I use it every day. - yo**********Combination SkinSensitive SkinJun 24, 2015
It's moisturizing without feeling heavy. After application, my skin feels firm and supple. There's an ingredient that's supposed to minimize pores, but I think it might be causing small bumps to appear on my skin...
