I have combination dehydrated skin with oily surface but dry underneath. I've found a great way to use this product - I soak a cotton pad with the toner, add a drop or two of bifida serum, and use it as a mask. It's excellent for refining skin texture. However, if you have very oily skin, you might want to skip this one. For students, the price can be a bit steep unless it's on sale. Also, it's a shame that the product doesn't have strong absorption power. I mix it with Alaska 85 Natural Toner (from the same company) and use it as a mist, which works well. One downside though - during a sale, they included a free mist bottle, but unfortunately, the spray function isn't very good. - ki*********Combination SkinSensitive SkinSep 18, 2017
First off, the paper box and container are absolutely gorgeous. It's definitely super gentle on the skin. As someone who's incredibly sensitive and recently recovered from a severe bout of seborrheic dermatitis (which tends to flare up easily), my skin actually tolerated this product well. It's got a nice balance of hydration and richness, and when you first apply it, your skin feels smooth and the texture seems improved. My complexion is usually dull and patchy, like someone with poor circulation, but this makes my skin look clearer. To put it simply, it doesn't just brighten your skin, but gives you that healthy, well-circulated glow! Plus, after using this, the redness typical of sensitive skin has significantly reduced. It has a calming effect and has improved my skin overall (except for the dryness). The watery consistency means you have to apply it quickly, which can be a bit of a hassle. Despite having combination skin, I found this product extremely drying. As you can see in the photo, it's causing my dead skin cells to flake off. My face was itchy, and I thought, 'Oh no, is this another product that doesn't suit me?' But there were no blemishes at all - it was just the flaking skin causing the itchiness. Even when I used a larger amount, it still felt dry and my face felt quite tight. This product seems more suited for oily skin types. If you have dry skin, it might dry you out. Those with combination skin, like me, might need to use a separate moisturizer! The reason I only gave it three stars is because it feels too drying when used alone. Right after application, for just a few minutes, the skin texture feels nice and the oil-moisture balance seems perfect, but as time passes, it becomes dry and dead skin cells start to flake off. However, aside from the dryness, it's a perfect product and does help the skin, so I would consider repurchasing. If the product description had mentioned that it's best used with a cream, I wouldn't have rated it so low... Mixing it with my usual cream works really well! I wouldn't recommend this product for those planning to use it alone. While others mention using just a few drops, I'm using a 1:1 ratio with my cream! Keep in mind that if you use it alone, your skin will feel very tight and flaky. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSep 15, 2017
If you're after that radiant glow, don't hesitate! I've heard the vitamin C ingredient is naturally beneficial Hmm, there wasn't anything particularly disappointing. However, it didn't really help with acne improvement After cleansing with a low pH cleanser, apply toner, then use this product right after the toner - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinMar 3, 2017
I'm very satisfied with both the ingredients and effectiveness. I've repurchased it. I think I apply too much of it. It runs out quickly. But since it works so well, I want to keep using it generously. It's also nice to apply it like a toner. You can use it as a substitute for your regular toner. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinFeb 26, 2017
It absorbs really well. Though it's a bit runny, it sinks in nicely. After absorption, my skin feels firm and supple. The hydration level is just right, but since I have dry skin, I always follow up with a cream. I've actually gone through 5 bottles of this Graymelin Bifida serum! After using it for a month, I noticed a real difference in my skin, so I've kept using it ever since. The only downside is that sometimes the scent changes. One bottle had a peculiar smell, almost like a countryside bonfire, but that doesn't happen anymore. I apply the Bifida serum directly onto my face using the dropper instead of my hands. It feels like all the nutrients are going straight into my skin! - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinFeb 17, 2017
The effects seem rather underwhelming... It's just natural, and that's about it. Nothing good to say. Requiring at least 20 characters feels forced... Skip this and buy something else. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinJan 30, 2017
I often hear compliments about my skin since I started using this. I've been using it for over three years now. In winter, it feels a bit dry, so you might need to layer it with additional hydrating products. - cs*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinOct 27, 2016
I have sensitive, combination dehydrated skin that's prone to blemishes. Usually, I avoid trying new skincare products, but with the recent weather changes - hot during the day and cold at night - my skin was feeling rough and dehydrated. So I bought this to mix with my night cream. While I haven't seen any miraculous effects yet, it does seem to calm my skin when it's about to act up. Mixing just 2-3 drops with my moisturizer definitely reduces that deep dryness feeling! Since I haven't used it alone, I can't say if it feels too rich for oily skin types. There's not much to complain about. The only thing is that it absorbs too quickly to apply directly to the face. That's why I recommend mixing it with other products. - Hwahae UserDry SkinOct 8, 2016
Bifida is known to be great for skin texture. As for hydration, it's not particularly outstanding. I bought it for the texture, and it definitely makes my skin feel smooth. After applying foundation, it gives a nice glow too. I achieved the effect I was looking for. I used to get occasional blemishes and had a lot of small bumps. I heard these bumps are caused by an imbalance in skin's oil and moisture levels, so I started looking for a skin emulsion and finally settled on this one. I'm writing this in case anyone with similar issues might find it helpful. ------ Skin type: Dry, occasional blemishes, lots of small bumps. My skin doesn't react badly just from touching my face. It's not super sensitive. I don't break out when changing products either. Ingredients that don't work for me: Centella asiatica extract, pulsatilla koreana extract, and other natural preservatives used by brands like Sidmool or Swanicoco. Because of these ingredients, I can't use natural cosmetic brands. Ingredients that work well: Citrus-based ingredients suit me well. Fermented ingredients are also good for my skin. ------ Cleansing foam: Skinfood Broccoli Foam. I use it whether I'm wearing makeup or not. I remove eye liner and lipstick separately. Toner: I don't use one. Instead, I rinse my face several times with water after using the cleansing foam. Essence & Ampoule: Graymelin Bifida 100 Ampoule. I pat it gently into my skin. Emulsion: I mix 1 drop of Bonajour Jojoba Oil with a thumbnail-sized amount of A24 Aloe Soothing Gel. The aloe gel can be quite drying if used alone. In winter, I use up to 2 drops of oil. If you pat it in, it can get sticky due to the aloe's properties. Just gently spread it over your skin. If it feels too dry, I apply another layer. ------ This is all I apply, nothing else. Even so, I hardly get any blemishes anymore and all the small bumps have disappeared. The jojoba oil provides lipids, while the aloe soothing gel provides hydration, creating a good oil-moisture balance for my skin. If you have a lot of small bumps, you might want to try customizing your routine like I did. I found it difficult to find regular cosmetics that suited me because their oil-moisture balance is often standardized, and they sometimes contain ingredients that don't work for me. If your skin type is similar to mine, give this a try! Some brands offer samples if you sign up and request them. Here's to everyone achieving that honey-like skin! Using fewer products. - an******Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRednessSep 9, 2016
At first, I was skeptical about its effectiveness because it was so watery and took some getting used to. But with consistent use, I noticed my skin texture became more refined. While it's not a dramatic change, I'm quite pleased with the results. The formula is extremely watery. The dropper cap is made of rubber, which tends to collect a lot of dust.
