  Pros

  As someone with a job that requires wearing makeup for over 12 hours, I always use matte foundation, even when my skin feels dry. This product worked exceptionally well to prevent deep dryness, especially during winter.

  Cons

  It's really frustrating that I can't see how much product is left inside the container.

  Pros

  When I mentioned my combination skin, the staff recommended this over Max Trop. It's convenient as it has both sunscreen and primer functions, so you only need to apply this one product. It's great as a base.

  Cons

  While it didn't cause any blemishes, my skin felt somewhat suffocated. On days I used this, I had to cleanse more thoroughly. It's a bit pricey for the amount you get. The inside of the lid tends to leak a bit, which is a shame.

  The glow lasts quite long and my makeup doesn't break down. It also does a great job of concealing pores.

  It feels a bit heavy on the skin, and the coverage seems to be lacking.

  Pros

  You need to apply it thinly, as using too much can make your makeup look cakey. On the plus side, it seemed to help my makeup last longer.

  Cons

  A MAC employee recommended this as a summer alternative to sunscreen, so I bought it without hesitation. Unfortunately, it didn't live up to expectations... I already have super sensitive skin that reacts to most sunscreens, and sure enough, this product also caused irritation. I won't be repurchasing.

  Tip

  To prevent your makeup from looking patchy, you need to apply it in a thin layer. It takes a bit of skill to get it right!

  Pros

  I bought this looking for a primer with sunscreen to reduce my base makeup steps. It's great that I don't need to apply a separate sunscreen due to its high SPF.

  Cons

  I really dislike the typical greasy feel of sunscreens, so I wasn't thrilled with how this felt. It seems closer to a sunscreen than a primer. I end up applying Porefessional or Bioderma Sebium over it. So if you're trying to cut down on base steps, I wouldn't recommend this.

  Pros

  A thick and creamy sunscreen. To be honest, for me, it's nothing more, nothing less.

  Cons

  I prefer moisturizing sunscreens as I like to keep my base hydrated. However, Hera's Sun Mate Daily is actually much better than this one. Most importantly, every time I use this, I get inflamed acne. It's disappointing, especially considering the high price.

  It's just... a sunscreen without the white cast, I'd say...

  Cons

  I have combination dehydrated skin with dry inner layers and oily surface, so I'm sensitive to makeup breakdown. The store assistant mentioned it's like makeup glue, but I'm not sure. It actually feels too rich, so I don't think I can use it except in winter. It doesn't seem to do much for skin texture either...

  I bought this for sun protection and it's great for summer use as it's not sticky

  Cons

  It can feel a bit heavy if worn for long periods. While I appreciate that it's not sticky, it does leave my skin feeling somewhat dry

  Pros

  Covers pores well. Creates moisturized skin. The staying power is really amazing. Base makeup stays put almost all day.

  Cons

  I bought the newly renewed version, and it's much more hydrating than the previous one. As someone with oily skin, I personally prefer the pre-renewal version. The intense moisture right after application might be challenging for those with oily skin. It does get a bit better over time, though.

  Tip

  You might need to squeeze out a bit less and apply it all over your face at once.
