I appreciated the lightweight formula and the hygienic spatula attached to the lid. It applies smoothly with a moisturizing feel, though it quickly sets to a matte finish which is a bit disappointing. However, I loved how it naturally matched my complexion.
ConsPerhaps due to my sensitive skin, even after thorough cleansing and applying toner and emulsion before bed, I would always wake up to small blemishes the next day. As someone with dry skin, the matte effect wasn't particularly appealing either.
TipFor dryness, try mixing it with a bit of facial oil! For blemishes, I found using a soothing toner helps. Despite these issues, I still found it to be a decent product overall, so I would recommend giving it a try.

ConsNot sure if it's because of this, but I started getting small bumps on my face... I came to check the ingredients because I think they might not agree with my skin. I hope the foundation isn't the cause, as it's such a great product for me otherwise...

It's just matte enough, making it perfect for summer with a great oil and moisture balance. My holy grail Artdeco High Definition Foundation is more hydrating for winter, so I bought this Rich Treatment from the same company. It applies thinly and naturally with medium-high adherence. The coverage is average, but I don't have any blemishes to cover, so I'm fine with a foundation that just evens out my skin texture. I'm not a fan of foundations loaded with titanium dioxide as they can be drying and emphasize dead skin cells. However, without it, coverage and longevity suffer, which is crucial in summer. The Rich Treatment foundation does contain titanium dioxide, but it's 6th on the ingredient list, somewhere in the middle. Other foundations often have it as the 2nd or 3rd ingredient, making them too dry and less flattering on the skin. To summarize in three points: 1. A bouncy foundation for combination skin 2. Melts into the skin for a natural finish 3. Coverage could be slightly better
ConsI bought Warm 10, which is supposed to be the same brightness as shade 21, but somehow it's closer to 23. It's about a tone darker than Guerlain Lingerie de Peau in Porcelain, a tone darker than Missha Radiance 21, similar to The Face Shop Long-Lasting CC Cushion 23, and matches Artdeco High Definition 22. It's half a shade lighter than Maybelline Fit Me Concealer 10. I get nervous every time I open the lid to scoop out product, trying not to contaminate the spatula. The applicator design is rather odd. Did you know this is only 20ml? It fits snugly in one hand, which is cute. The presence of two parabens and some fragrances is a bit concerning, but so far, no blemishes, so it's not a problem yet.

My neck is darker than my face, so I always struggled to find the right shade. If I matched my face, my neck looked too dark, and if I matched my neck, my face looked dull. This foundation (I use shade 10 Sunny Shell) is the perfect in-between! (It's about a 22-22.5 shade) As time passes, it blends naturally into my skin tone without looking out of place. I have dry skin, but this applies beautifully without flaking (I use a damp beauty sponge). The wear time isn't bad either, making it a great value-for-money holy grail! The coverage is decent too. I apply two thin layers and touch up with concealer where needed. It works well for touch-ups throughout the day too!
ConsThe downside is the small amount of product. Compared to other foundations, I feel like I use more, so I end up repurchasing frequently, which is a bit disappointing. While shade 10 Sunny Shell is said to suit 21 warm tones, it might appear dark for those with lighter 21 shades.
TipIt works great with a damp Real Techniques sponge! Instead of applying a thick layer all at once, I find that applying multiple thin layers improves both coverage and longevity.

I found the staying power to be quite good too. The color looks natural, and I liked that it doesn't apply too thick. The coverage is nice, and overall it just feels natural and versatile.
ConsThe store associate recommended it as a moisturizing foundation, so I bought it, but it felt a bit more matte than I expected. It doesn't pill much, which is good. I wasn't hoping for a dewy finish, but when applied alone, the surface feels a bit dry. However, it works well if you prep your skin thoroughly beforehand!
TipOverall, it's a versatile and natural-looking product.

This product allows for a really natural and clean look, which I love. The small size makes it convenient to carry in my makeup pouch, and the glass container keeps the contents cool, which is nice.
ConsI made my first purchase at Olive Young, and I'd say the barrier to entry is a bit high. It's not a pump-style product, but one where you use a spatula attached to the lid to scoop out the product. This made me hesitate about trying the tester due to hygiene concerns.
TipI use this with a cheap beauty sponge from Daiso, which I dampen with water or toner (like Hatomugi). I find this method gives a more natural skin finish. I apply the foundation mainly on my forehead and cheeks, patting it in for better adherence, then lightly blend a small amount towards my nose, chin, and hairline. If it feels too dewy, I lightly dust some powder on my cheeks and along the edges of my forehead.

I use shade 21, and the color seems naturally bright on my skin.
ConsIt's quite drying. I'm not entirely sure, but I think I've been getting small blemishes since I started using this product.

Reviews by The Hwahae Testers undergo the same strict verification process as regular reviews, and if they don't meet our standards, revisions will be requested.ProsFirst off, I have a lot of acne scars, and with other cushion products, the pores tend to stand out. But this one minimizes the appearance of scars and gives a natural skin tone. My complexion falls between shades 21 and 23, with a yellow undertone - neither too light nor too dark. I use Artdeco shade 10 (equivalent to other brands' 21), and it looks natural. It's perfect for those with slightly yellow undertones, though it might appear a bit yellow on cool-toned, fair skin. I'm currently on my fourth repurchase!
ConsThe glass container makes it inconvenient to carry around, which is the biggest drawback. Also, since the formula isn't soft, it's difficult to use up the last bit when there's only a little left in the container.

I usually have issues with foundation separating, but this one doesn't. It's moisturizing and feels great on my skin.
ConsIt comes off easily, which is a problem for me since I tend to sweat a lot. The coverage isn't particularly impressive. Also, it seems a bit pricey for the amount you get... I go through it quickly.

Overall, it's decent.
ConsShade 10 Sunny Shell is too yellow, making it look dull. So I bought shade 26 Light Porcelain, but this one doesn't match my skin tone either. I tried mixing the two, but I'm not sure about the result. They said it was moisturizing, but it's not that hydrating. If you haven't exfoliated, it accentuates dead skin cells. The staying power isn't great either... It seems to come off easily, and I'm not sure about the coverage. It wasn't terrible, but I can't say it was good either.
TipDon't be swayed by what Olive Young staff say.
