Skin type: Usually use shade 21, combination dehydrated skin, sensitive, rosacea (much improved now) I couldn't wear any makeup due to my skin condition, but as my rosacea has improved significantly, I bought this looking for a gentle BB cream to cover redness. While it's not completely irritation-free, my skin feels quite comfortable! On days when I wore makeup all day, I felt a slight itching around my jawline, but by the next morning, my skin had calmed down without any blemishes. (My skin tends to itch even when I eat something wrong, so it could have been food-related) It absorbs well, and the shade blends seamlessly with my shade 21 complexion. I'm extremely satisfied! It's expensive for such a small amount. The formula is quite runny, so you need to be careful not to squeeze out too much when first using it. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMay 23, 2024
This is truly great for those with troubled skin, especially when traveling or in a rush at night. You can use it without worrying about ingredients. I often apply this when I'm heading out, unless it's for an important occasion. It doesn't cause major blemishes, which is fantastic! While the ingredients are good and it's a regenerative BB cream, it's slightly lacking in coverage. More importantly, it tends to sit on the skin rather than blend in, emphasizing dead skin cells. Also, it's quite pricey for the amount you get. Make sure to thoroughly prep your skin with a good skincare routine before application to minimize patchiness. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinSensitive SkinApr 27, 2024
Although it's marketed as a sleeping BB cream that can be applied before bed, I bought it to use during the day instead of foundation. It doesn't cause any blemishes and seems to work well. The shade is a bit dark for me. Since I have a fair complexion, it makes my skin look darker when I apply it. However, after some time, my natural skin tone gradually shows through. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJun 21, 2021
The particles are incredibly fine and non-irritating, which is why I've been using this product consistently since my laser treatments at the dermatologist. I've probably gone through over 10 of these. Unlike cushion foundations, it doesn't cause any blemishes, and while it does fade over time, it does so gracefully without looking messy. The formula has a beautiful wear-off. Longevity...? If I had to pick something, it would be this, but honestly, the other benefits overshadow this minor issue so much that it's hardly noticeable. Applying this over a mineral sunscreen improves both adherence and staying power. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJun 19, 2020
I bought this for a natural look while traveling. It's so subtle you can hardly tell you're wearing anything, yet it covers pores nicely without being too obvious. It looks natural and doesn't cause any blemishes, even if you sleep with it on! While it's not extremely high coverage, it does conceal pores well. There's a slight grayish tint, but it doesn't scream 'I'm wearing BB cream' which I really like. There's nothing I dislike about it. I'm surprised there aren't more reviews - I'm really satisfied! The only thing is that the coverage might be a bit light for everyday use. It's perfect for when you're traveling and don't want to show your bare face. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinNov 6, 2019
As someone with sensitive, acne-prone skin, I had tried every BB cream, powder compact, cushion, and foundation on the market without success. I was seriously considering giving up on makeup forever until I found this BB cream - it's the only one that works for my skin! I'm so relieved. All the products marketed for acne-prone skin caused blemishes and stressed me out. I didn't have high hopes when I bought this, but it's the only product that doesn't cause any breakouts. I literally cried tears of joy! If you're like me, with extremely sensitive skin and can only dream of wearing a full face of makeup, I highly recommend this for a light, natural look. Given its gentle ingredients, the coverage isn't exceptional. After a while, it can get a bit oily and start to fade slightly. As I mentioned in the cons, it does get a bit oily and can fade. Since I can't use any other cosmetics, I just blot with oil-absorbing sheets (which still maintains decent coverage and works for me). You could also try setting it with a no-sebum powder or touch up with a cushion compact for a more polished finish. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinSep 15, 2019
While I've had blemishes from other causes, I've never experienced any breakouts from using this product. It allows for a natural-looking complexion. My skin tone tends to be on the darker side, but when I apply this, it gives a slightly brighter appearance. I'd say it's close to shade 23, perhaps a 22. Coverage. I've been using this for years and always notice it. The coverage isn't great. Maybe it's because I have quite a few blemishes. Price. I buy it online with a discount for the high teens, but it's still pricey for the amount you get. However, since I only use a small amount to avoid looking too pale, one tube lasts me nearly a year. When I think about it that way, I guess it's not that expensive after all. Some people use this as a 'sleeping BB cream' and wear it to bed, but it's best to remove it before sleeping. While it's gentle enough to sleep in, remember it's still a makeup base. It's better for your skin to cleanse it off before bed. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinAug 16, 2019
Sometimes I apply it before bed, and amazingly, I wake up without a single blemish in sight! While there's nothing particularly wrong with it, the slightly oily finish is a bit disappointing for someone with oily skin like me. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJun 29, 2019
1. It doesn't cause any blemishes~ When my skin is sensitive from dermatological treatments, I use this BB cream for about a week~ It doesn't cause any blemishes, and I didn't experience any irritation or tingling sensations at all! 2. The grayish cast isn't too severe. Despite being a one-color BB cream, I didn't feel like there was a drastic difference in my complexion. While it wasn't extremely natural-looking, I found it acceptable even though I have a yellow undertone and this BB cream has a pinkish tint. 3. Coverage is medium to high? The coverage isn't too light or too heavy. I think it's probably due to the texture that's just right - not too thick or too thin. It covers most redness well enough that I often use it alone without needing concealer. 4. Just the right amount! Some people say the quantity is small, but for me, using a pea-sized amount each time, it's perfect for about a year's use~ 1. The color is a bit disappointing Of course, I understand that it's a BB cream and won't have added pigments, so there's only one color. However, it's true that even when applied thinly, it doesn't feel natural due to the color. 2. It's gentle, but not particularly functional. It contains ingredients like EGF, but I didn't feel like it helped with skin recovery to a significant degree... It just prevents blemishes from occurring, I guess? But honestly, I think that's enough for me, so it's not really a drawback. I don't have any specific tips to offer, but... 1. Different skin finishes depending on the base I noticed that when I use a moisturizing sunscreen underneath, it gives a dewy finish, and when I use a sunscreen that dries matte, it ends up with a semi-matte finish later. It seems to be greatly influenced by the base product's texture, so keep that in mind~ 2. Tool usage Brushes didn't work well for me, probably because I'm not good at using them, but almost all types of puffs worked fine! Among them, my favorite was the wedge puff >< - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJun 15, 2019
Since I don't typically wear heavy makeup, I found the coverage to be surprisingly decent. I occasionally get blemishes and have slightly sensitive skin, so I'm usually careful about checking ingredients when buying cosmetics. Fortunately, using this product hasn't caused any increase in blemishes or skin issues. The staying power isn't particularly impressive. However, on days when you want to give your skin a break but don't want to go completely bare-faced, this would be a good option to use.
