The texture is not too thin, but pleasantly firm. The scent is true to its name - a subtle rose water fragrance. It applies smoothly and generally dries quickly, leaving a fresh finish. When bought on sale, the large size lasts a long time. The new tube packaging is also more hygienic to use. It's great for soothing the skin immediately when applied during hot summers or when your skin is sensitive from irritation. On dry days, if you apply a thick layer after your skincare routine before bed, you'll wake up feeling like your skin is coated and noticeably softer. If applied too close to the eyes, it can cause a slight burning and tingling sensation. Also, it's best used after your skincare routine. When I used it alone without other products, my face became extremely dry and I experienced blemishes. Rather than using it alone, it's best to apply it after completing all steps of your skincare routine, as if you're sealing in the moisture. I've found it's also great for immediate soothing when applied around areas where you've just extracted a pimple. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinSep 25, 2018
When applied, I felt a slight cooling effect and a refreshing sensation after absorption. It can be used on both face and body, and comes in a large size, making it a decent all-around product. After applying once and letting it absorb, I felt some dryness, so I applied it two or three times in a row. Suddenly, my face started burning intensely. It was a shockingly hot sensation. I'm not sure if it's because I have sensitive skin or for some other reason. I was tempted by the seller's claim that rose water is a premium ingredient and bought it during a buy-one-get-one-free promotion, but I don't think I'll repurchase after finishing this. I really enjoy using rose water toner, but this product is a bit disappointing. For those with sensitive skin like mine, it's best to apply it lightly once or definitely do a patch test before use. These days, I apply it gently on my face like a light coating and mainly slather it generously on my body. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinSensitive SkinMay 10, 2018
First off, the scent is absolutely delightful - a subtle rose fragrance! The way it absorbs and applies is fairly decent, though it's a bit on the runny side. Unfortunately, possibly due to the fragrance ingredients, I experienced a burning and tingling sensation when applying it right after washing my face. It was too uncomfortable to use. I would not recommend this for those with super sensitive skin. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMar 12, 2018
The subtle rose scent and overall feel of the product were very pleasant. As someone with sensitive, blemish-prone skin, I'm usually cautious about changing my skincare routine. Since the rose water toner worked well for me, I decided to try the soothing gel. Unfortunately, within just two weeks, my skin completely flared up. I experienced intense redness and numerous blemishes appeared. If you're prone to skin issues, I strongly advise avoiding products with alcohol. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinJan 8, 2018
The scent is lovely. It has a true rose fragrance, which might be divisive, but I found it quite pleasant. Suddenly, my face was covered in tiny bumps. I realized it started happening from the day I used this product. It wasn't just me - my sister's skin also became a mess. We both developed numerous small, uneven bumps all over, causing us a lot of distress. Once I stopped using it, the condition didn't worsen and started to subside. After using this product, I began developing acne and struggled with it for years. It was truly agonizing. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinSep 18, 2017
The delightful rose scent makes application a pleasure. It seems even more refreshing when used chilled. After using it, I noticed tiny bumps starting to appear on my face... I was quite taken aback, considering I applied it to soothe my skin... - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinAug 3, 2017
The fragrance seems pleasant. When I applied it to the inner part of my arm where allergy tests are usually done, it was fine. However, when I applied it once to my face and neck, I broke out in hives. If you have super sensitive skin, try applying a small amount to your face before using it regularly. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMar 2, 2017
I bought it because the price was cheap, the size was large, and it had a rose scent~ I applied this and my skin completely flipped out. I bought it because my skin was dry, but now I have to see a dermatologist ㅠㅠ - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinFeb 5, 2017
The scent was nice. The complexion is fine. There is a lot of moisture. Do not apply this directly to the bare face. Can you see my hands??? It has been really irritating so far. When I applied it to my hands, it became this itchy and reddish - similar to when I used to apply that moisture gel with parabens and slept with it. It's really irritating and surprising. I don't understand how something that's supposed to be great for soothing can cause this kind of reaction....ㅜㅜㅜㅜ There is a lot of moisture. But do not apply this directly to the bare skin. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinJan 22, 2017
The product has a calming effect on the flushed skin. Although I'm not sure if it's absorbed or just drying, it's quick and doesn't leave a sticky finish. The fragrance is artificial. And even though my skin is not at all sensitive, it doesn't seem to agree with me. After using it for about a week, I started getting not only a few whiteheads, but also 3-4 pimples each time. In the summer, when you don't want to apply a heavy body lotion after showering, just use it on your body.
