I always need to layer a moisturizer on top. In summary: Low on oil, but unfortunately also low on hydration.

I got a great deal on Nature Republic's skin toner and emulsion during their 1+1 sale. The biggest plus is that despite my super sensitive skin that usually flares up with redness and heat from the slightest irritation, I've been using this for over a week without any blemishes appearing. Secondly, compared to other products, the scent isn't overpowering. I really dislike men's skincare products that smell like strong cologne or alcohol, reminiscent of bathroom products. This one is gentle in both function and fragrance.

My skin feels a bit dry some time after application. Also, the emulsion is quite liquid-like, making it difficult to control the amount used.

It feels moisturizing and nice when applied after washing my face. I'm also hopeful about its brightening effects that it's supposed to have.
