I've tried the soybean version too, but honestly, I didn't notice much difference. You might as well go for a cheaper product.

I've tried the soybean, eucalyptus, and lemon versions, but this rice bran oil cleanser just doesn't remove makeup effectively. It seems to just move the makeup around without actually cleansing. The makeup stays put, so a second cleanse is absolutely necessary. It's gentle enough for days when I've only applied sunscreen, but for makeup removal, you'll definitely need to double cleanse.

The generous amount is great, and it doesn't have an overpowering scent. I got a good deal when it was on sale. The essence pump bottle makes it convenient for cleansing.

Make sure to rinse with lukewarm water. Cold water really doesn't emulsify it well... A second cleanse is absolutely necessary with this product.

The emulsifying action is really not working.
It doesn't dissolve white in water, so the oil is left all over the face.
To remove the oily face, you have to do a triple cleanse.

Double cleansing is a must, but even though the emulsification is difficult, the makeup doesn't seem to be removed completely. You can choose which part is more important to you and select the product accordingly.

It seems the ingredients are focused on, but the emulsification with just water is almost impossible, unlike the Soy Bean oil. It doesn't rinse off smoothly and slippery.

I tried the Essenhub toner and liked it, and I've been using the Soy Bean oil well. The ingredients are better than Soy Bean oil! The distinctive soybean oil smell from the Soy Bean oil is gone, and there are fewer harmful ingredients, but there is no unpleasant odor.

The key is to rinse off the remaining oil!

This was the worst cleansing product I've used so far!!! It just slid around and when I tested it on the back of my hand with sunscreen, foundation, and eyeliner, it was caked on like dirt :(( Even after double cleansing, it was still like that!!! The sink was an oil slick, the bottom was an oil slick, it was just an oil slick through and through with zero cleansing power!!!

I also used soybean oil, but it seems to have less cleansing power than soybean oil.
I've tried a lot of Essence Herb products, but this is the one I recommend the least.
