The cleansing effectiveness is great, it lathers well, and doesn't leave residue even after some time. I used to believe only green tea shampoo and Lush BIG could thoroughly clean my hair, but Aveda isn't bad either. The rosemary one was decent too. Invati seemed a bit less effective, but I wonder if that's because I used less to save product? I have long hair down to my waist... shampoo runs out quickly for me. I've tried Amos Green Tea, Amos Cool Shampoo, Lush BIG, Lush red shampoo bar, René Furterer Forticea, René Furterer Astera (for oily hair), Coupang milk carton-shaped Baobab, Aveda Rosemary, Aveda Shampure, Aveda Invati, L'Occitane Aromachologie, L'Occitane cool one (can't remember the name)... After trying all these, Aveda Shampure is definitely in the middle range, haha!
ConsSince I don't use conditioner or treatment, my hair feels a bit stiff after washing

First, I quickly remove excess oil, then rinse. For the second wash, I do a more thorough cleanse and rinse. I use different shampoos for each step, and this one is perfect for the first wash. Its versatility is a big plus. I can feel it soothing my scalp, which is nice.
ConsIt leaves my hair feeling a bit stiff, and the price is on the higher side. Looking at the ingredients now, I'm a bit disappointed.
TipYou don't need to use a lot to get a good lather, which makes washing your hair easier. The scent is pleasant and neutral. Remember, a little goes a long way!

It lathers up really well!
ConsAfter rinsing, my hair feels quite stiff... You'll need to apply a generous amount of essence to counteract this.
