Cons- Too heavy for summer use - Not recommended if the base tends to lift or slide - Not a mist spray - Feels more like a makeup booster than a setting spray
Tip- Good for touch-ups outdoors when feeling dryness - Works well for winter, but a different setting spray is needed for summer

And I didn't get any breakouts!!
ConsFirst of all, I used this Etude House setting spray for the first time ever! The initial impression of this setting spray was that the mist came out not in a fine mist, but in a thick, spit-like manner. Because of that, the foundation I had applied earlier was slightly wiped off in one area where the spray came out strongly. And most importantly, as an extremely oily-skinned person, the oil came up, so I had to retouch my makeup. When I applied the cushion on top, it started to slide and lift due to the setting spray, I think.

You can use it like a regular mist without any major issues. I was worried the scent might not be great, but fortunately the scent is nice. If there's one more advantage, it has pretty good lasting power!
ConsSome blogs said that if you spray it on an air puff and then apply BB cream or foundation, it applies well and feels comfortable. But that wasn't the case for me. It actually felt a bit heavy. It's better to just use it as a regular mist. Other than that, it's a good product.

Moreover, as a makeup fixative, spraying it after makeup application improves the staying power of the makeup. The biggest downside of oily skin is that the makeup breaks down quickly, but using a fixative makes the makeup last longer.
ConsThe spray force is a bit disappointing. It sprays in clumps, and when used after makeup, it can make the skin look overly shiny. I'd recommend using an air puff when applying makeup, or only using it after your skincare routine.

I'm currently using the Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation in shade 51 and the pearl base, and as the weather is getting warmer, the oiliness is starting to emerge. However, it definitely makes my skin look more matte and my makeup lasts longer. Using it gives me a feeling that my makeup is really set in place. It extends the time it takes for my makeup to start breaking down by 1.5 to 2 times. However, simply spraying it over a fully done makeup routine doesn't seem to work.
ConsIf the base you apply underneath is even slightly dewy or if your exfoliation is not thorough enough, or if the base products like sunscreen don't work well together, it can end up looking cakey and emphasize any dry patches. But when applied properly, it's a real gem!
TipI saw on a beauty blog that they recommend first applying the foundation all over the face, then using a cushion puff soaked in a setting spray to lightly dab it all over. That definitely made it look more seamless and matte, but since I'm not the most skilled at makeup and have some large pores and a tendency towards oiliness and dryness even in winter, it still ended up looking a bit patchy on me. So what worked best for me was just applying a thin layer of foundation all over as I normally would, then building up coverage in problem areas and setting it with a light dusting of the setting spray on a puff. That way, I didn't get any cakiness or emphasizing of dry patches.
