I'm so afraid this will be discontinued that I always keep three or four stocked up - it's my holy grail! It seems to combine all the best features of gel and pencil liners. It glides on smoothly and is easy to apply. The tan shade is a natural brown, and I've even received compliments on my eye makeup. When applied thickly, you don't even need eyeshadow. It really makes your eyes look bigger - no words needed! The most outstanding feature is how naturally it applies. Even with just eyebrows and eyeliner on bare skin, your eyes look larger. And it truly doesn't smudge - it lasts all day, is water-resistant, yet still easy to remove. The Bloom Street shade is also pretty. The Graphito(?) shade was too reddish though - when I wore it, people asked if I was feeling unwell! It's fine in winter, but it gets very soft in summer - perhaps it's melting? Because it's so soft, it applies very darkly and can smudge easily. When you try to sharpen it with a pencil sharpener, it gets all mushy and the sharpening is a mess. The softness that allows for smooth application is also its downfall. If you put it in the fridge for a moment before sharpening, it won't apply too darkly and won't be soft. It sharpens well this way. Always clean the sharpener with a cotton swab before use, as leftover product can cause the pencil tip to smudge. After applying the eyeliner, clean up the edges with a cotton swab, then lightly dust over it with a matte ivory eyeshadow - it won't smudge all day. If any eyeliner gets on your eye while cleaning up, gently rub it away with a smudger. When the pencil gets too mushy to recover after sharpening, it's time to replace your sharpener - you'll find it sharpens well again! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinDec 26, 2016
I've decided to commit to Espoir's Bronze Line eyeliner for life. Yes, I've made Broomstreet my lifelong friend. This was actually a product I bought by mistake due to a wrong option selection. But if you ask me if it's good, I'd say yes. - While Broomstreet is an honest brown with pearl, this one is a gold-brown with gold pearl = very gold-gold (I'm a cool-toned deep tone, so I'll soon switch back to another color. But the product quality is wow... praise-worthy) - The color is on the lighter side, so it's nice that even if you draw a thick line, it doesn't look too intense (I have monolids. It's barely visible unless I draw it thick enough) If you apply a darker eyeshadow over it, even cool-toned people can pull it off - The product quality of Espoir Bronze eyeliner is truly lovable 1. It applies softly but once set, it doesn't budge at all (It's even better than BBIA, incomparable to Woodbury, and of course better than The Face Shop, Nature Republic, and Fairy Drop. I was a long-time eyeliner nomad) 2. The reason I switched to this despite it being more expensive than BBIA is that the product doesn't dry out as much and applies smoothly without irritation (When using BBIA, my eyelids often hurt. The product itself dries out easily and applies a bit stiffly, but this one doesn't have such issues and still looks pretty.) 3. The pearl finish is dazzling. It's beautiful. It's gorgeous. Buy it. This is the product I recommend to all my acquaintances 4. No smudging. It doesn't smudge or run - It's a bit on the softer side, so it feels like it wears down quickly - Being a pencil type that needs sharpening makes it feel even more so - It's more expensive than BBIA - There are fewer places to purchase it, making it difficult to test But I'll buy it again. As I always have It's my first time writing 500 characters of pros. I genuinely like it. - If this product's color doesn't suit you or if you're new to brown eyeliners, I recommend Broomstreet. This one is good too, but I'm planning to go back to Broomstreet as well Kudos to Espoir's product developers This isn't about the color It's about the product quality (A product with no cons, only pros. In my circle, everyone who tried it was satisfied) - You can find it cheaper if you search online - It's cheaper if you buy it at duty-free shops - I buy a couple at once. Then I'm set for a while
