The price is affordable and it's a decent product overall. I used it for cosplay, and I liked that when I applied this product to my eyebrows and then layered my desired eyeshadow color on top, it created a similar color effect. When applied on its own, it seems to fade over time, so you need to keep reapplying it...? It seems great for when you want to change your eyebrow color. The color was not as bright as I expected, but the application was quite nice. The size is frustratingly small, which makes me angry. Nature Republic has larger sizes. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinNov 5, 2016
I used to use the Kissmee brow mascara, but since I ran out, I decided to try the Etude House one this time. First of all, the size is smaller than the Kissmee one, so it's more portable. The color payoff is not bad either. Since my hair color is blonde, I was debating whether to get the orange shade or the blonde shade, but the one I got matches my hair color well and I'm satisfied with it. It's also cheaper than the Kissmee product, so I'd recommend it to those who use eyebrow products lightly. It definitely clumps up faster than the queen of mascaras, Kissmee, and it's also harder to control the amount. And although I haven't used it up yet, I feel like I won't be able to use it for as long since the packaging is smaller. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinMay 8, 2016
The color seems to blend naturally with the dyed hair. It's already my fifth tube!!! There's nothing better than this. It's difficult to control the initial usage amount. The quantity seems really small... - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinMay 1, 2016
The brightness is very bright. The color payoff also seems quite decent. Overall, it's a pretty good product for the price. 1. The application is a bit tricky until you use up a good amount of the product. It tends to apply unevenly at first, but becomes more manageable as you use it up. 2. It seems to get used up a bit faster than expected in the beginning. 3. The longevity is not particularly great. After using about 5 bottles, I realized that you need to carefully dispense the product before the initial use-up phase. When you pull out the applicator brush, hold it at a right angle to the bottle opening and wipe the excess product off the brush against the opening. Keep wiping until you can't see any product on the brush and there's no pooling in the opening. It may seem like you're wasting product, but this helps prevent the uneven application and excessive usage in the beginning. After applying, wipe the opening one more time with the brush before closing the bottle, and you're all set. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSep 9, 2015
Etude's colors are indeed great. The colors were diverse, and once applied, they lasted well. Since it's a product for the eyebrows, the inclusion of pearls gave it an artificial feel. The difficulty in controlling the amount applied was also a downside. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinAug 17, 2015
The brightest color. The same color as my hair. This is the color I was looking for. Great spreadability and application. I'm not too sure about that. But drawing straight eyebrows seems like it would be difficult. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinJun 19, 2015
I initially started using eyebrow mascara from a department store brand, and later tried out various drugstore options as they became available. I found the price and color selection to be the most satisfactory. I generally enjoy lighter hair tones, and the eyebrow mascara helps to tone down my naturally dark brow hairs even when I don't have lighter hair. In the past, there were only two color options, which was a bit disappointing. But now the selection has expanded to 5-6 choices, which is great. However, the brush can sometimes pick up too much product, leading to clumpy brows if applied multiple times. Also, when using a lot of the 'eyelash serum' type formulas, it can make me think of helpless flies or mosquitoes - I'd recommend using only a small amount and brushing it through lightly. (For reference, the 'brand X' formula doesn't clump at all, even with heavy application, but the price difference is...) The recommended way to use eyebrow mascara is to brush against the hair growth first, then brush back in the natural direction. But that method didn't work well for me, as I have very thick brow hairs. Following the recommendation led to perfectly pigmented brows, but they ended up looking clumped and unnatural. I've found it's better to let go of that approach and lightly brush the product on in the natural direction of my brow hairs. While it may not be as intensely pigmented, it's a more long-lasting and natural-looking way for me to use the product. Despite that, I still find the eyebrow mascara to be a great value and will continue using it.
