Then I heard about Laneige's beige eyebrow pencil - apparently the first and only one lighter than brown. It's perfect for my sparse brows! It applies naturally, fills in gaps nicely, and isn't too dark. The staying power is surprisingly good for a non-waterproof product. It doesn't smudge easily, even if I occasionally scratch my brows. Though pricey, it's worth every penny. I was worried when it was discontinued briefly, but I'm so glad it's back. This beige brow pencil suits any hair color naturally, unlike the usual advice to match your brow color to your hair.
ConsWhile it doesn't come off easily, you still need to be careful since it's not waterproof. The tail of the brow can be tricky to draw as you're never sure when it might smudge. For those with sparse brows, the pencil might clump if you're not careful when filling in larger areas of skin. Avoid layering too much product. The pencil's length made it inconvenient to carry around, but I found a workaround - I use a new one at home and keep the shorter, used-up pencil in my bag for touch-ups when I'm out.
TipIf it gets wet, gently blot the water with a tissue instead of rubbing, and your brows will stay intact! For tricky areas like the tail or sparse patches, sharpen the pencil to a fine point for better application. A tiny bit of moisture can help it glide on smoothly, but be careful not to overdo it or the color will be too intense. I like to use a brow mascara after the pencil to set the hairs and fill in any missed spots. If the price is an issue, here's a tip: skip the offline stores and buy from the Laneige online shop during sales. I stock up when they have 30% off deals - it's a great way to save on this must-have product!
