The best product with menthol I've tried! It's great for preventing blemishes and gives a refreshing sensation. The pump sometimes clogs, causing the product to dispense in unintended directions. It's a bit frustrating. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinJan 16, 2016
I hadn't used body emulsions much before, but after getting pregnant, my whole body became itchy, so I decided to give this a try. It has a cooling effect which feels refreshing. There's a slight tingle, but it's not overwhelming, which I liked. The texture isn't runny and doesn't drip - it feels more like a cream than an emulsion. The scent is fresh rather than overly fragrant. The inconvenience of having to slightly turn the pump cap each time I use the product, and the nozzle tends to get a bit crusty. Also, the fragrance isn't particularly appealing. While it doesn't run or drip due to its thicker consistency, it's more viscous than typical body emulsions. This means it requires a bit more effort to apply - you need to spread it more and pat it in. I wouldn't say it's a drawback, more like a characteristic of the product. Compared to other body products with runnier textures that are easier to apply but leave a moist surface, this one absorbs well, leaving the skin feeling more supple and firm. - he******Combination SkinAtopic SkinNov 6, 2015
It's truly excellent for atopic itching. I find this even better for my face than the moisturizer I use most often. Unfortunately, it's been discontinued and is no longer available. I really liked it because it was less rich than other Aveeno products. Now I'm not sure what to use instead... This product is really great for applying to the face because it's not sticky and has less of a rich feel. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSep 21, 2015
I started using this product after my skin became extremely dry and prone to redness. Whenever my face feels itchy and tingly, applying this instantly calms it down. It's become my go-to product! The only downside is that even with daily use, it tends to clump up at the emulsion's opening. Other than that, I have absolutely no complaints! For those with dry skin, here's a pro tip: After cleansing, don't dry your face. Instead, squeeze out a small amount of the emulsion and apply it thinly like a toner. Let it absorb slightly, then apply another layer. This method works wonders for dry skin! - ha*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinApr 4, 2015
This is my absolute favorite product. I'd love to use it exclusively, but the mentholated version is often out of stock at stores, so I sometimes have to settle for the Aveeno Skin Relief Moisturizing Emulsion. They're quite similar, except for the menthol content. As someone with atopic dermatitis, I've tried almost every emulsion that's supposed to be good for it, and this one stands out for its excellent hydration and gentle formula. Cetaphil was also mild and nice, but a bit sticky, so I prefer this one. Unlike other emulsions, including Physiogel, which stung when applied to scratched areas, this one feels soothing. That's why I started trusting and using it regularly. Personally, I prefer this product over other Aveeno emulsions because it's cooling and helps relieve itching. I have combination skin with atopic dermatitis, and it worked well for me. However, it might feel a bit heavy for those with oily skin. Some people dislike the Aveeno Skin Relief Moisturizing Emulsion because of its medicinal scent. If that's the case for you, try this mentholated version. It has a refreshing minty fragrance that makes it more pleasant to use.
