While it does have a slightly drying feeling as a dry skin foundation, applying a camellia oil cream and sunscreen helps improve that.

Many people on YouTube have called this a holy grail foundation, so I decided to try it out. The color was described as 03, which was supposed to be shade 21, but it's not too pale or too dark - it's just right for my normal skin tone. I usually wear 21, and Clinique does seem a bit dark, so I ended up purchasing 01 instead, and it's perfect.
While it's labeled as a foundation for dry skin, there is still a bit of a drying sensation. So I've been applying a 100% pure camellia oil cream before using it, and the coverage and longevity are quite good.

The sponge applicator works much better than the brush for skin expression.

I bought it based on reviews saying it's moisturizing, but it wasn't as moisturizing as I expected

When I asked what kind of makeup tools would be best, they recommended applying it with your fingers by patting it on.
They said that if you're not using a brush, your hands would be better than a puff, as the puff tends to absorb too much of the product, leading to excessive application.

I have slightly darker skin, and when I received the tester, it was okay on the chin area. But after purchasing shade 3 and applying it all over, I found that it has a very yellow undertone. If you have a naturally yellow-toned complexion, you might need to apply a pink-based base before using this product.
Since it's a compact type, you'll have to carry it around in small portions, which can be inconvenient.

Since the ingredients are good, the itchiness and tightness of my skin have definitely decreased a lot! It applies lightly and evenly, and the staying power is also decent! I can understand why people call this their 'holy grail' product.

The color is coppery and yellowish. The darkening is really severe.

When applied in the summer, the oil still returns to the T-zone and the makeup becomes undone, but if you apply powder diligently during the base makeup, it won't become as serious.

The cream-type foundation has less evaporating moisture than the liquid-type foundation, so it can be applied more moisturizing and with better coverage.
The areas with red acne marks can be covered somewhat naturally even if applied only once.
