Pros
It's definitely more moisturizing than the original Double Wear. The application is not bad either. And since it's in a tube, it's convenient to carry around in a pouch and you don't have to buy a separate container, which is nice.

While Double Wear is such a famous product and using it was good, it had a bit of a drying feeling, so I bought the Light version... but it's a bit different from what I expected. I bought it at the duty-free store without testing it, thinking it would be a more moisturizing version of Double Wear, but when I received it and tried it, I'm not satisfied. The coverage isn't that high, but it also doesn't seem to apply the color very nicely. When I wear just this, my skin looks unhealthy and dull. The finish is a bit oily even though I have dry skin. I used it a few times, but it just sat on my vanity and I couldn't bring myself to throw it away because it was a waste. Eventually I ended up giving it to someone else.

Excellent coverage and lasting power Natural shades I love the plastic container, it's easy to use

It's still quite drying for dry skin. I felt tightness on my face 1-2 hours later.
Tip
It would be good to mix it with a hydrating foundation. Many people mix it with BB cream and double wear, but in my case, I mix it with the Jungsaemmool foundation. I used to buy the Jungsaemmool foundation before, but it was too light for me, so I stopped using it. But mixing it with the Estee Lauder foundation 1:1 is really nice.

It has a slightly yellow tone and is dry, so it feels a bit uneven at first, but it has good coverage so I can't hate it.
Cons

Pros
I only used full-coverage foundations before, but I was hesitant to use Double Wear because I have dry skin. Then I saw they have a light version, so I ordered it~~ The coverage is amazing, just as everyone says ♡
Cons
Even though it's called 'light', it still felt a bit drying on my dry skin. Now I'm going to try layering a face oil underneath to see if that helps.

Pros
I found the Double Wear Stay-in-Place foundation after the dermatologist told me to use only oil-free products. Just a little bit spread out covers a wide area, and the coverage is excellent! Even when I sweat in the summer, it doesn't wipe off easily or smear a lot, which is great!! The volume is a bit small for the price, but I think it will last a long time!! My skin is on the darker side, but the color matches my skin tone perfectly! In the winter, I'll apply a thicker layer of moisturizer before using Double Wear, and it shouldn't feel too drying!!! I think I'll continue using this consistently going forward!
Cons
The only downside if you buy it at the duty-free shop is that you have to purchase the pump separately! For people with dry skin, the Double Wear itself can be a bit drying, so it's better to apply a lot of moisturizer or mix it with oil or serum before use!

When mixed with sunscreen and patted on with an air cushion, it absorbs well without the need for additional powder application. The longevity is excellent, allowing you to go the whole day without touch-ups. There is also no darkening effect, which I am quite satisfied with. While not as good as the bottled product, the coverage is decent and the oil is certainly less than other products. Also, the tube form is convenient to carry and relatively hygienic to store.

The staying power is really amazing. I would highly recommend it for oily skin. The coverage is great, and it really lasts until the evening without fading. It has a nice, velvety finish.
Cons
I have dry skin, so in the winter, I experience severe tightness and a lot of flaking, so I can't use it. I would not recommend it for dry skin.

As I have oily skin, I was looking for a long-lasting foundation and came across Estée Lauder Double Wear. I heard that Double Wear is quite thick, so I tried Double Wear Light and I'm already on my third bottle. (I used Intensity 2.0 at first, then switched to 1.0 from the second bottle) It has excellent spreadability and really good staying power. However, since I have very oily skin, my T-zone tends to get a bit shiny by the evening, but I can just dab on some Innisfree No Sebum Powder and it looks perfectly matte...haha. I can't compare it to the original Double Wear since I haven't tried it, but I'm really satisfied with the coverage and longevity of Double Wear Light! Double Wear Light is my holy grail foundation..haha.

The price, of course..haha. 30ml costs 60,000 won. But at the department store I go to, there's a beauty membership (?) discount, so I'm able to buy it for 57,000 won. Ah, and the sun protection factor is only SPF 10, so I have to apply a separate sunscreen in the summer..ugh. And while it's fine on other areas, when I apply it around my mouth or eyes, it feels a bit stiff (like it might accentuate wrinkles). That's why since using Double Wear Light, I've been paying more attention to my skincare routine..ugh. And I'm currently using the lightest shade, Intensity 1.0, but I wish there was an even brighter and more radiant shade..ugh.

I really hope you can find the perfect match for your skin tone! I think the best thing is to go to the store and try it on directly. And make sure to have a solid skincare routine, especially around the eyes and mouth, before applying the foundation. Double Wear Light is really low in oil content, so even if you apply a lot of product around the delicate areas, it's not too heavy..haha.
