I actually bought this on social media a couple of summers ago... I remember purchasing two because using this alone caused blemishes, but I ended up using only one and tossing the other. However, in winter, when my skin feels tingly and super dry, I deliberately bought this thick, rich horse oil cream again. While horse oil is said to be good for skin regeneration and hydration, I'm not sure about the regeneration part, but it's great for slathering on generously at night before bed!
When applied before makeup, it tends to make the makeup pill a bit... Of course, if you let it absorb completely it might be fine, but the texture is so thick that it's hard to spread evenly and thinly, and it takes time to absorb... On mornings when I want to sleep in even for a few extra minutes, I feel like the time spent waiting for this to absorb is such a waste that I'd rather not apply it in the morning at all.
While horse oil is said to have skin regenerating effects, I noticed this cream contains ingredients found in scar ointments... It might be minimal, but I apply a bit extra on areas with slight scarring or prone to wrinkles... Psychologically, it feels like the scars or wrinkles are fading...
