In my early 20s, I saw my friend using this and thought it looked so pretty that we went to the department store together to buy it... The color worked well for me, even though I'm warm-toned with a slight cool undertone. It's a slightly warm peachy shade? The texture is soft and creamy, if that makes sense. It's not sticky, but when you apply it to your face, it goes on with a velvety finish. The case has a mirror, which was great for touch-ups when I was out! Being a cream type, it can get quite messy. You should also be aware that it has a relatively short shelf life. As it's a department store brand, the price is a bit steep. And it's such a shame it's been discontinued... - po*****Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJan 27, 2020
As a blush enthusiast with a deep undertone and shade 21, this product is a game-changer! It instantly creates that perfect 'just-applied makeup' flush that beautiful women have. While applying other blushes, I often think 'Oh, this is cute' or 'This is subtle,' but with this one, I'm like 'Wow, this is gorgeous!' as I'm putting it on. It blends seamlessly with any makeup look, and being a cream blush, it absorbs well without ruining your base makeup. As much as I love this product and would definitely repurchase it, it's disappointing that it's been discontinued. - Hwahae UserDry SkinRecommendedFeb 16, 2019
I bought this at duty-free without knowing much about it, and it ended up sitting unused for a while. When I finally tried it, I was pleasantly surprised! The pinkish-white shade is perfect for those times when you want a subtle look. Just apply it lightly, and you're good to go. As a summer mute, I find it surprisingly flattering. The staying power... unfortunately, it falls short in that department. But the color is so pretty that I'm destined to keep reapplying it throughout the day, even if it's not by choice. - re*****************Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedFeb 9, 2019
Suits all complexions beautifully Great ingredients Cream formula ensures long-lasting wear and excellent color payoff Looks pretty whether applied with fingers or a puff Works wonderfully as an eye base too - it's gorgeous wherever you apply it Why did they discontinue it? It was my holy grail blush. Shame on you, MAKEUP FOREVER! No downsides at all I've used it all up but can't bear to throw away the empty container - I'm preciously keeping it Please, MAKEUP FOREVER, bring it back! If applying with fingers is tricky, Try patting it on with a puff for the most beautiful color payoff Use it as an eye base for a fresh, innocent look - please start selling it again! - Hwahae UserDry SkinRecommendedDec 29, 2018
The color is pretty and when used with a foundation that has a bright complexion, it really makes you look radiant Well, if you apply it too heavily, it might be a bit much. Use it for highlighting when you want a more glamorous makeup look - mh*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedNov 10, 2018
Great color payoff and beautiful shades. Perfect for daily use. The pigmentation is so intense that you need to apply it carefully. It's easy to overdo if you're not cautious. - so*************Combination SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesWrinkles/ElasticityJan 19, 2018
I used the violet shade, and it surprisingly suited my darker complexion. When I apply it, it actually gives the impression of brightening my skin and adds a touch of youthful freshness. The amount you get is generous, and it provides a delicate, subtle color. It's hard to find something similar on the market. - Hwahae UserDry SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsDec 3, 2017
A product that's pretty to my eyes and others' too! Every time I use this, people keep asking me what blush I'm wearing. It's a coral blush with a hint of orange, so I recommend it for warm-toned folks! I'm usually too lazy for extensive makeup, but since buying this product, I find myself reaching for it daily. 1. Natural color payoff & shade I personally don't like the 'hangover makeup' style, so I bought this product because it was said to have a very natural color payoff. And it's true! The color is natural and not too flashy, while still complementing my warm undertone perfectly. (For reference, my personal color test showed I'm a warm tone between spring and autumn!) Gently dabbing it on my ring finger and applying it about three times gives just the right amount. Since it's not intense with one application, it's easy to adjust the intensity by layering without needing to blend much, which I really like. As you layer it, it can become quite intense, so those who prefer a stronger color payoff might enjoy it too. 2. No clumping Being a cream type, I was worried it might clump, but there's absolutely none of that. It looks so natural! Whether I use a dewy base product or a matte one (e.g., Hera Black Cushion), it doesn't clump and looks natural. 3. Staying power I thought it would fade quickly being a cream type, but it lasts well for 4-5 hours. Being a cream-type blush, those sensitive about hygiene might find it inconvenient. Also, it's not intense with just one application! While that's a plus for me, it might be a drawback for others. Personally, I found the opening and closing mechanism a bit inconvenient. Make Up For Ever always has pretty packaging that's portable and looks nice in a makeup pouch, but when it comes to practical use, it falls a bit short. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopic SkinOct 23, 2017
The color is vibrant and builds up naturally to a healthy-looking flush, even with multiple layers (though controlling the amount is still essential!) Many reviews praised its longevity, but personally, I'm not so sure. For a cream formula, it seems to fade rather quickly... - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinOct 9, 2017
Well... the good points are... hmm... Maybe I had too high expectations... The color is really pretty, I do like that. The staying power is decent. For a color product, the ingredients are quite good... that's why I bought it. It seems to require some skill to apply. It's a cream type? but it becomes powdery after application. If applied well, it adheres nicely without floating on the skin, looking just like your natural skin tone. It might be suitable for oily skin types. It accentuates pores and dead skin cells. It also settles into pores - though that might be because I didn't use a primer. It really highlights any flakes, even ones you didn't know were there. Since I have a lot of dead skin and dry skin, I think I can only use this in summer when flaking is less of an issue. It tends to slide around and clump up as it moves... I bought the special brush they said works well with it, but that turned out to be an even bigger mistake. I find it applies better with my fingers (what am I going to do with that expensive brush now?). The disappointing part might be due to my lack of skill... I bought it online and waited days for it to arrive... It's such a letdown. It makes me think of the money I spent... It's so frustrating that I want to use it up quickly just to get rid of it. I definitely won't be repurchasing.
