While the SPF is lower, it's more hydrating. I chose this product back when I was really into studying and analyzing cosmetics. I trusted the titanium dioxide used as the sun protection agent, and I've been using it ever since. (Though I'll admit I haven't kept up with my studies since then!)
ConsIf you're in a rush during summer and apply this hastily without letting your skincare fully absorb, it might pill. At first, I thought it was dead skin cells, but that wasn't the case. Also, since it has a slight coverage effect, you'll need to cleanse thoroughly (though I'm not worried now that I use an oil cleanser).
TipSometimes I've tried using this product around my eyes and mouth, and a higher SPF product from the same brand on the rest of my face. I can't say if it's particularly good or bad, but it did seem less drying.
