I've been using this consistently for over 3 years now. It gives a firming effect without any stickiness. On dry winter nights, applying just this one product leaves my skin smooth by morning. My makeup also applies beautifully over it. While my skin tends to break out with even slightly rich moisturizers, this one doesn't cause any issues at all.

While the overall skin texture improves, I suddenly developed large blemishes. I checked the ingredients on Hwahae, and it mentioned that it can cause acne for oily skin types. So I stopped using it.

When my skin gets really flaky in winter, instead of exfoliating and irritating my skin, I focus on hydration. I mix this with some Paw Paw cream I bought in Australia and apply it before bed. It really helps reduce dead skin cells.

The downside is that if you accidentally apply it around your eyes, it can make them tear up and cause irritation and a tingling sensation. You need to be careful to avoid the eye area when applying. It doesn't seem to be particularly gentle.
