I originally used Moroccan oil for about 2 years without knowing much, but after realizing it was full of silicones, I did some research and chose this product. It's hard to find hair products completely free of silicones, so I didn't expect that. Instead, I bought this because it has more oils that protect from heat damage listed higher in the ingredients than silicones. Although it's a leave-in treatment, it contains low molecular weight proteins and oils (which protect proteins from heat damage), so I use it before drying my hair. Since I have short hair, I don't use separate treatments or conditioners. After shampooing, I pump it about 3 times, apply it evenly, and then dry my hair - it works perfectly for me! The price is a bit high, so it might be a burden for those with longer hair. While it's impossible to completely avoid silicones, I wish they would use even smaller amounts in the formula. Even though it's a leave-in treatment, it contains oils, so it's great to use before drying your hair! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMar 9, 2020
It has a delightful apple-like scent, and the texture is similar to a light emulsion. This means it doesn't leave a sticky feeling after application. The ingredients could be better. While it absorbs well due to its thin consistency, it evaporates quickly. The quantity is quite small, and the price is a bit steep. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinAcne SkinRecommendedSep 27, 2019
It's nice and easy to use. The essence seems to absorb well into the hair, and it feels like it dries better when applied. I liked it! The ingredients... are quite disappointing. The brand gives an image of having good ingredients, but I was shocked when I saw the ingredients. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinSensitive SkinDec 24, 2016
I initially wrote this as a sample, without much expectation, just wanting to quickly use up the sample. But I ended up completely falling for it. My hair became so silky smooth... and the scent really won me over~^^ The volume is a bit small, which is disappointing... I will definitely purchase the larger size when it's available. - qh******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinFeb 6, 2016
I tried the sample and it's the best hair essence product I've ever used! I can really feel my hair getting much softer after using it :) I plan to continue using it going forward The only downside is that the volume is small and the price is very expensive ㅠ I'll have to use it sparingly - Hwahae UserCombination SkinNov 17, 2015
I initially just tried the sample and loved it so much that I ended up purchasing the product. This is the current state of my hair. I've bleached and dyed my hair twice, and it's been almost a year since the bleaching. I heard that the Silk Therapy was good, so I tried it, and I also tried the argan oil treatment, but they didn't work for me. Just like how skincare products need to be tailored to individual skin types, it seems that hair products also need to be chosen based on the condition of one's hair. My hair is fine, and due to lack of care, the ends are completely fried, so much so that I can't even comb through it with my fingers when washing my hair. However, this line's conditioner and essence work really well for me. It's such a joy to be able to comb through my hair! The moringa flower fragrance is also lovely. The price-to-volume ratio feels a bit too low. I'll have to test it out to see how it works without the conditioner. - Hwahae UserDry SkinNov 3, 2015
Before drying your hair, if you gently massage and apply the product, you'll feel like your hair is eagerly absorbing the essence. It doesn't leave a sticky residue and absorbs completely. On days you don't use it, your hair feels stiff right away, but on the days you do, it becomes soft and supple. Compared to other Kiehl's products with similar purposes, this one is about twice as expensive.
