  Pros

  Apply it in the evening, and by morning, you'll notice a brightening effect. The skin around your jawline and neck becomes smoother too.

  Cons

  The scent is truly... unpleasant. Due to its texture, I mainly apply it at night before bed, but I feel sorry for myself having to fall asleep with this smell. It's reminiscent of Middle Eastern spices or even an ashtray. Why aren't there any reviews mentioning the unpleasant fragrance? I'm taking the courage to write honestly about it.

  Try mixing it with your hydrating moisturizer for best results.

  Pros

  Since my skin is naturally dry, I carefully manage the moisture and oil balance throughout the seasons, and I've been using this product consistently. I particularly love the plump, bouncy texture that is so hydrating. The best part is that not only does it have excellent moisturizing power, but the vitamin C absorption is also incredibly effective. After using it in the evening, my skin looks brighter and more radiant the next day. As someone with a very fair complexion, I've tried countless brightening products and vitamin C powders, but this is the first time I've experienced such an amazing effect. I'm on my nth bottle and I think I'll be using this product for life. I also really appreciate that it's free of parabens and artificial fragrances.

  Cons

  The unique texture and packaging...! True to Aesop's style, they didn't spend much on the packaging, which is a bit disappointing. As someone with a bit of OCD, I wish it had a pump dispenser. The jelly-like texture was a bit strange at first when I started using it, but I've since learned the application technique and it's fine now.

  Tip

  Dispense an appropriate amount onto the back of your hand, gently roll and mash the texture a bit, then apply it evenly to your face. Since it has an aloe vera base, patting it in will help increase the absorption and prevent product waste. It also pairs wonderfully with an oil product layered on top!

  Pros

  I've tried other vitamin C products before, but the Aesop one has been the most effective. Most importantly, just applying one pump before bed and waking up to a brightened and plump complexion.

  Cons

  It can be quite difficult to use on its own. You'll need to mix it with a facial oil to maximize the effects.

  Ah, this is truly a product I love so much. When I blend the Aesop Blue Chamomile Mask with it and apply it generously all over my face and neck, it has a refreshing cooling effect, and the spreadability and absorption are much better. It's great to use on its own, but it's best to use it at night as it takes a bit of time to absorb, as it doesn't contain silicone. I like to gently press it into my skin with the warmth of my palms, and it leaves a smooth, even finish, making my skin tone look brighter.

  Cons

  After checking the ingredients, I noticed there are a few potentially irritating components, but I've never had any breakouts from using this product.

  Tip

  Blending this with plant-based oil products instead of mineral oils can really boost the moisturizing power and make the application much smoother.

  After applying the Bae Triple C Balancing Gel and sleeping, my complexion looked brighter and more radiant the next day.

  Cons

  You shouldn't tap it on. The texture is dense and sticky, so you need to press it into the skin with the warmth of your hands, which may feel unfamiliar at first, but the effects are still good.

  Tip

  Adding a few drops of Fabulous or other Aesop oils can make it a bit easier to use.

  Pros

  When applied on good skin condition, the texture, moisturized and bouncy feeling adheres well to the face, and I'm very satisfied. The vitamin ingredients also seem to brighten up my face a bit.

  Cons

  When atopic dermatitis is severe, it stings and I can't apply it. If applied incorrectly, it's like opening the gates of hell.

  Tip

  I always apply this and then lightly spread a moisturizer on top.
