The pigmentation is top-notch. The staining power is also impressive. It applies smoothly too!
ConsIt feels moisturizing when first applied, but dries out quickly. The fluorescent pink shade is a bit overwhelming for fall and winter. Experienced some side effects. Small blisters appeared along my lip line. Because of this, I've only used it three times and can't use it anymore. It's sensitive to heat, causing water droplets to form on the lipstick.

The shades are absolutely stunning and versatile enough to wear beautifully in both winter and summer.
ConsBeing on the matte side, it tends to accentuate dead skin cells. You need to exfoliate before application. For a lipstick, the ingredients are quite harsh. If you're even slightly tired when you apply it, it can cause something like blisters to form on your lips.

It's vibrant enough to brighten up your face. It's not an overly intense hot pink like some candy-inspired shades, so it's quite wearable for everyday use.
ConsWhile the Amplified formula is known for its hydrating properties, it didn't work well for me. Within less than two hours of application, the lipstick had completely worn off the inner part of my lips, leaving behind flaky dead skin cells. I think matte formulas suit me better.

It's the perfect shade for me too.
ConsMy lips were already a bit chapped due to winter, but when I used my sister's MAC Ruby Woo before, I didn't have any issues. However, after trying the MAC Impacted tester, the area around my lips turned red and swelled up. So disappointing!

I love how well it matches my complexion.
ConsIt feels a bit drying and causes blisters on my lips. There's no way I could wear this every day.

Just a light dab gives you amazing pigmentation. It's on the moisturizing side, so it glides on smoothly without tugging. This seems perfect for the upcoming spring season. Oh, and personally, even though it's a hydrating lipstick with intense color, I didn't notice it fading easily.
ConsWhenever I use MAC lipsticks, without fail, my lips swell up or develop blisters either right after cleansing or the next day. It really shows how harsh the ingredients are. Today, my upper lip swelled up again after wearing a MAC lip product. It hurts to touch... feels like inflammation is coming. If I had known the ingredients were this terrible, I wouldn't have bought it. But since I already did, I feel obligated to use it. The color is truly beautiful though...
TipWhen applying lipstick, stretch your lips by making an 'ee' sound to expose the fine lines. Then, gently pat the product to fill in between the creases.
