One purchase will last for years. It has a smooth, seamless application on the skin.
ConsIt applies too thickly. It feels moisturizing when applied, but becomes dry afterwards. It accentuates wrinkles significantly. The jar packaging is inconvenient, as I have to use a spatula to scoop and apply it. That's why I don't feel like using it when doing my morning makeup.
TipI don't know why it's so drying. Sometimes I mix in a little argan oil when applying it.

I bought it because I have severe dark circles, and it has good spreadability and adherence. The volume is also quite generous, I think.
ConsHowever, it doesn't provide dramatic coverage, and the price is on the high side, so I will be cautious about repurchasing it.

The flaws that are revealed whenever I write a Hwahae Trial Review... Yes, I'm a woman with very severe dark circles... ㅜ As an allergy-prone rhinitis type, I've always had a dull, grayish dark circle since I was young, so concealer was an essential item for me. I've tried many famous concealers, but I realized that dark circles require a different product from regular spot concealers. This is because dark circles are around the eyes, so they are sensitive, and it's more important to have a luminous and natural-looking skin makeup connection than perfect coverage. I usually use shade 21, but for this product, I use shade 1 fair. I tested it in the store and the staff recommended it to me. The color is a bright skin tone, I'd say? There are 1-3 shades, and they all match the skin well without being too intense. However, shade 1 is too bright to use for other spot coverage. I recommend it for dark circles~ It's a cream concealer, so the texture is dense and moist. But some people may feel it gets a bit dry after application. A small amount provides incredible coverage~ It's a huge volume, so it's really great value for the price! (I've been using one for over a year and a half now..ㄷㄷ)
ConsAdjusting the amount can be a bit tricky at first, but as you use it more, you'll find the right amount for your needs. The key is that really just a small amount is enough! The price is a real steal... Seriously... The volume is large, but you'll never use it all up anyway, so I wish they'd reduce the price a bit even if they lower the volume. If you know the shade, I'd recommend buying it online or at the duty-free shop. The lasting power is around half a day, I think. Since the size is small, it's convenient to carry in your pouch and touch up as needed.
TipWhen you first purchase it, there's a mini spatula included, and when you open the product, there's an additional protective cap to prevent external contact. To use the product hygienically for a long time, it's best not to discard these two things. Concealers are usually applied with a brush, but I just lightly dab it on with my fingers. I lightly pick up some product with my index finger and dab it on the dark circles under my eyes, one, two, three dots. If you rub too hard, it's not good for the eye area and the coverage will decrease. Just spread it out gently without any clumps. You also need to blend the edges where the concealer meets the skin. The volume is truly amazing, but the downside is that you may not be able to use it all up before the expiration date. Still, don't use it for too long... I need to throw mine away, but it's such a waste... While regular spot concealer shades are usually the same or one tone darker than your skin tone, for dark circles, I recommend using a shade one tone lighter. For those who want a more 'perfect' and natural-looking coverage, I suggest shade 2 medium, which has a slightly yellow undertone, based on shade 21 (match it with your foundation tone). Many wonder when to apply concealer - before or after makeup. I do it as the final touch after completing my makeup. When I tried it before base makeup, the coverage felt a bit patchy. It might be because of my lacking makeup skills (haha), but I recommend applying it at the very end, as the finishing step.
