I have very dry lips. I use lip gloss frequently, and I like Carmex because it has good staying power, so I don't have to reapply it often. It feels like there's a coating or film on my lips. I used to use Vaseline, and Vaseline feels very soft, but Carmex has a thicker, stickier feel. It seems like people will either love it or hate it. For me, since my lips get so dry, I prefer the long-lasting, slightly tacky feel. It's still there even after 10 hours of sleep.
It has a slightly drying sensation, and sometimes my upper lip feels a bit irritated. I feel like you can't apply too much of it.
And the size is too small, and the stick form is difficult to apply on the lips. When you first peel it, the center is a bit indented, so you have to apply it from the edges.
