The packaging is adorably designed.
ConsAfter applying this, I experienced a rough and irritated sensation around the lip area... The Loccitane lip balm also felt irritating. I might try the tube type format to see if that works better.

ConsI do have atopic dermatitis, but when I wash and apply it, it stings too much. My skin gets red due to the atopic dermatitis, and I keep applying lip balm but it doesn't seem to be improving.

ConsSometimes it felt a bit stinging, perhaps because I applied too much.

Even after days of care without applying lip products, I can't live without lip balm. #Moisturizing Among the stick-type lip balms I've tried (Burt's Bees, Nivea, and various others), this seems to be the best. Compared to other solid stick-type lip balms, this one doesn't feel like it builds up in thick layers when reapplied. I used to have to reapply it multiple times, quickly using it up, but this one layers well. #Ingredients There was news that tube-type lip balms contain carcinogenic mineral oil (if I remember correctly, there was a correction article saying that mineral oil is not a carcinogen, or that it doesn't contain mineral oil). But the stick-type seems to have decent ingredients, so I can feel more at ease. I think the previous news article only pointed out issues with the tube-type. #Fragrance While it is said to contain fragrance, there is hardly any scent. It seems the fragrance was likely added to mask any unpleasant odors. #Lasting Power It's not bad, but not dramatically long-lasting either. Even when applied generously, it fades to an appropriate degree after about an hour. It's just so-so, moderately good.
Cons#Cooling Sensation Normally, I don't mind the cooling sensation of lip products much, but when my lips are chapped or peeling, the cooling sensation is quite irritating... It has the potential to cause irritation, so I think it would have been better without it. #Hygiene Being a stick-type, it's inevitable, but it's easy for foreign matter to get on it. After eating, I have to wipe it down with a tissue before reapplying, which leaves me feeling a bit uneasy. #Cannot Be Pushed Back In The biggest downside of Carmex sticks... When using other lip balms, I can gently push the product back in, but with this, it's frustratingly difficult. But I suppose that's a common issue with tube-type lip balms as well.

The stick form made it easy to apply.
ConsI'm not sure why, but when I used the product I directly purchased from overseas, I developed a severe lip rash. When I used the Carmex products from Olive Young, the tube or jar forms were fine, but the overseas stick form seemed to really irritate my lips, causing a burning sensation. I thought the discomfort was just due to my dry, tired lips, but after using it for about 3 days, I developed a painful, severe lip rash.

ConsMy lips are usually very sensitive, and after applying it, they felt a bit itchy and stinging.
TipI would not recommend this to people with very sensitive skin or allergies.

That's right. That's right.
ConsIt stings... I didn't even know this was the reason, and I bought two of them. It's unfair.

The texture was too firm, the menthol scent was too strong, and the moment I applied it, I felt a burning sensation rather than a moisturizing one. I have dry and sensitive skin. I apply lip balm dozens of times a day, and I feel too dry without it, so I bought this one from the convenience store in a hurry, but the menthol ingredient doesn't seem to agree with me. If I had to point out a good point, it would be that it's easy to purchase. For those who are not sensitive to menthol, it can be used moderately to create a slightly oily and moisturized look, and it may also help express a somewhat plump lip.
ConsAfter using it for about a week, I developed blisters around my lips. I applied ointment right away, and the blisters went away, but my lips felt very dry, swollen, and cracked, and when water or skin toner touched them, it stung. I thought it was because I was tired, but it seems the burning sensation (from the menthol ingredient) caused the swelling and blisters.

I usually use lip balm to manage my dead skin. So I like the feeling of applying it generously before bed and waking up to find the dead skin gone in the morning. But that feeling was the best part (when I used just one).
ConsIt's really too spicy. I'm a bit sensitive, but I'm not overly sensitive. But this was too painful, and for a moment I felt like I had become a sensitive person and was rejecting it, as it was so stinging and as soon as it spread a little, it turned bright red, which was just a hassle. I would not recommend using it alone for those who don't like spicy things and those who are sensitive and sensitive. (When I say sensitive, I mean just not liking painful or hot things and not liking to eat lip products, and sensitive means that no matter what product it is, if it doesn't suit you, something will definitely come up and it will hurt, so please refer to it.)
TipIt's spicy but the effect is really good, so if you apply a thin layer of another lip balm or Vaseline and then gently apply it to your lips, it will help with dead skin care. Apply the moisturizer 30 minutes before going out, and anything will apply well.
