It doesn't irritate my eyes and effectively removes even waterproof mascara and eyeliner. I've been using this product consistently for over 10 years. After trying a cheaper alternative that severely irritated my eyes and having to throw it away, I sampled this product and loved it so much that I've been using it ever since. Compared to other products, it's relatively expensive and not widely available online. I recently learned through Hwahae that it contains some ingredients to be cautious about, which makes me a bit hesitant. However, since I've been using it so consistently and effectively for so long, I'll probably continue using it for now. - sa**********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRednessRecommendedDec 12, 2020
This product is incredibly gentle and amazing. It's truly the best for sensitive skin. It's one of the few products that can remove makeup from around the eyes and lips without any tingling sensation. I've gone through several bottles because it's so good. I find myself using more of the product than expected, which can be a concern since it's not exactly cheap. The price can be a bit of a burden. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedApr 17, 2020
- Effectively removes even heavy waterproof makeup - No irritation for sensitive and dry eyes (For reference, my eyes are sensitive and dry, prone to irritation, but this product doesn't cause any discomfort) - Leaves the eye area moisturized after use - The product opening isn't too large, preventing spills, and the squeezable container makes it easy to dispense the right amount - After use, it leaves a moisturized feeling but also some oiliness - On the pricier side - Needs thorough shaking before use, which can be a bit of a hassle - For best results, saturate 4 cotton pads. Place one folded pad under the eyebrow and another on top. Leave for about a minute, then gently wipe downward. This method effectively removes even waterproof mascara with ease. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJul 20, 2019
The bottle opening isn't too wide, so even if you shake it with a cotton pad over the top, you won't have to worry about it gushing out. It effectively removes all traces of waterproof mascara, eyeliner, eyeshadow, lipstick, and other stubborn color cosmetics without leaving any residue. I love the delightful rose fragrance it has. It leaves your skin feeling moisturized while thoroughly removing makeup without irritating the eyes, making it perfect for those with sensitive eyes. While it's great overall, the price is on the higher side. There are many cost-effective lip and eye makeup removers available from drugstore brands, so it's not necessarily a must-have. However, it's worth trying if you can find it at a discounted price. Although you need to shake it before use, the oil and water layers separate quickly. It's best to press a cotton pad firmly against the opening, shake the bottle, and then use the saturated pad for makeup removal. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedJul 6, 2019
Even a small amount effectively removes waterproof products gently. I have very dry skin overall, and the skin around my eyes is particularly thin and sensitive. However, this product doesn't irritate my eyes and provides great hydration. I've been using it happily for nearly 5 years. While the beautiful color influenced my purchase decision, I question whether the use of artificial colorants was really necessary. If you saturate the cotton pad too much, the product can flow into your eyes, making them feel dry. I found it most effective to dampen only half the cotton pad and gently wipe it over the made-up areas. On days when I wear heavy makeup, I use this remover all over my face, which has greatly improved my cleansing routine. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedApr 8, 2019
Truly gentle. It's genuinely mild. Even if it gets in your eyes, there's no blurriness or stinging sensation. Removes makeup effectively. Works well on both Colourpix and Espoir+Kill Black liner that I use. Even removes glitter efficiently. While it's a bit pricey, I think it's reasonable for a department store skincare product. Isn't that all you need to know? After using it, my skin feels oily, and when I remove lip makeup, I always feel the need to wipe my lips. The unavoidable taste at that moment is really... nauseating. But don't try to get rid of that taste... I'll endure it... The scent is also not great. It's too greasy. Rather than leaving it on for a long time and wiping it off all at once, it seems more effective to gently massage while cleansing. However, for eye makeup, it's better to leave it on for a bit at the beginning before wiping. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinRecommendedDec 2, 2018
Gentle and effective at removing makeup cleanly. Despite having combination dehydrated skin, it doesn't leave my face feeling dry after cleansing. I'm on my third bottle after finishing two already. The price-to-volume ratio is a bit wicked. I'm considering switching to a cheaper alternative, but haven't decided on a replacement yet. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinAcne SkinDec 28, 2017
This is the best I've tried so far! It's gentle on the eyes and effectively removes even waterproof products. While the price is a bit high, I still think it's worth it for the quality. For better results, soak a cotton pad with the product and hold it on your eyes for about 3 seconds. This works better than just wiping. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinMay 31, 2017
Hmm, there wasn't anything particularly good about it. It's just average, I'd say. I've tried many brands, and this one is just okay. However, it doesn't remove really strong waterproof products well. Compared to other products, it stings more if it gets in your eyes. Considering the price, it's not great, and I won't be repurchasing. I wouldn't recommend buying it again. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinMar 18, 2017
It effectively removes heavy eye makeup and tints without drying out the skin This is the first time I've had blemishes from using an eye makeup remover, so I even downloaded the Hwahae app to research the product. After using it, I noticed small milia or seed-like bumps on my eyelids and under my eyes. At first, I thought it might be my eyeshadow not agreeing with my skin, so I tried changing various products to find the cause. Turns out, this was the culprit. After forcing myself to use it for over 3 weeks, I finally decided to switch eye makeup removers, and the blemishes immediately started to subside. There must be an ingredient in here that doesn't agree with my skin. I'll have to be more careful about checking ingredients before using products in the future.
