I chose this Innisfree lip balm because they were offering a buy-one-get-one-half-off deal. Since I basically got one for free, I didn't expect much, but it turned out to be pretty decent!
1. Dead skin cell removal
I noticed some reviews saying it doesn't exfoliate well, but I had a different experience. I applied it generously before bed, making my lips super glossy. The next morning, I noticed some dead skin cells had surfaced. I gently rubbed them off, and voila! My lips were smooth and supple.
2. Hydration
It doesn't just sit on the surface - it seems to provide sufficient hydration. It's great for prepping your lips before applying matte lipsticks, allowing for smoother application.
3. Packaging
The cool, light green case reminds me of summer. It's quite refreshing!
1. Too soft!
Thankfully, I've been treating the case like a precious artifact, because the formula is so soft that if you accidentally drop it, you might have to wave goodbye to your lip balm.
2. Price
The original price is 6,000 won. While it's certainly cheaper than department store brands, it's not exactly a bargain for a road shop product. To be honest, 6,000 won seems a bit steep.
3. Quantity
When I fully extended the stick, the amount seemed... well, let's just say it's not generous. I'll let it slide because it's Innisfree, but still...
Apply generously before bed, and use as a base before lip makeup.
