After trying out the 'Healing Tea Garden Tea Tree Cleansing Water' as part of The Hwahae Testers program, here's my review! I used this product with confidence, as The Saem's cleansing products are already well-known. There's a reason why popular items are popular. For cleansing products, if they don't remove makeup well, it doesn't matter how gentle or good the ingredients are. This product is gentle enough not to sting the eyes, yet it removes even eyeliner and mascara. You don't need a separate lip and eye remover - just leave it on for a moment and then wipe, and you can cleanse thoroughly! (Eyeliner comes off immediately, but mascara needs a bit more time!) Base makeup comes off easily with just a light rub. Great stuff! * The photos show the cleansing test results using Kiss Me mascara, Lilybyred brush pen eyeliner, 3CE lipstick, and Missha Radiance Foundation! In the second photo, I left it on for about 30 seconds and then wiped off half - it removed well. The mascara didn't come off perfectly just by leaving it on, so I rubbed it gently. Being a water-based formula, it feels light and clean! The scent isn't strong, just a slight tea tree fragrance. It would be better if it were unscented, but since it doesn't contain added fragrances, it's not really bothersome. Recently, I read an article about the dangers of cleansing oils getting into eyes, so I became more aware of safety. The Saem Tea Tree Cleansing Water has passed eye area safety and skin irritation tests, so it seems safe to use with peace of mind. A product that fulfills its duty as a cleansing water! Removes makeup well and is affordable. I'm planning to stick with this cleansing water from now on.
I wish it came in a variety of sizes! It would be nice to have smaller sizes or larger economy sizes available. (There are no issues with the product's performance in terms of makeup removal.)
If you put the cleansing water in a foaming container, it transforms into a foam texture that's great for a light cleanse! After foam cleansing, just rinse lightly with water and you're done. On days when I've only applied light sunscreen, it's perfect for morning cleansing. Even though I have dry skin, it doesn't make my face feel tight and it's not harsh at all.
