I hastily bought this at the drugstore as a quick replacement... I'm not sure if it's incompatible with my skin or if it's an issue with the product itself, but after applying it, my skin completely flared up within a day and hasn't recovered for over a month. The initial feeling on the skin isn't like other skincare products where it feels moisturizing or rich. Instead, it feels like applying alcohol. As soon as it touched my face, my skin felt hot, so I tried applying it in front of the air conditioner. The alcohol sensation disappeared, but it left my face as red as a beet. Many people say it's much better... For me, I've been using it continuously from summer to winter. While it's not incredibly moisturizing, it's not very sticky either. As someone with dry skin, I find it nicely hydrating. It seems I don't have any allergies to the four ingredients.. I can't really think of any downsides.. However, there hasn't been a significant improvement in my skin, so I'll keep looking for an emulsion that can help clear up my small blemishes.
