KENZO L'EAU PAR KENZO POUR FEMME

I sometimes have a friend who likes to talk about perfumes, and I ended up talking a lot about Rain. It was because I really liked the aquatic fragrance type, and I talked about how it changed the mood when layered with a few other perfumes, and how sad I was that it was discontinued. The friend didn't know Rain, but after listening to my explanation, they said it sounded similar and brought me one just before my birthday. I didn't even expect it to be similar, and I was already grateful that they remembered my birthday, but it turned out to be almost identical...haha. When I asked how they managed to find something so similar, they just laughed, and I was really envious. There are a few more episodes, but I don't want to talk too much about my friend, so I'll just review the perfume. The main feature is a complex fruitiness, not the typical juicy and vibrant fruit scent, but more like the pulpy, fading fruitiness under the rainy season's gloom, with a moss accord and ambergris. Some may find it unpleasant and depressing, but I really love it..🥹🥹 Yes, this was exactly what I had been longing for ㅠㅠ And as time goes by, this main note blends with the base's skin-like musk, becoming a slightly warmer scent. This transformation is more dramatic and faster than Rain. When it gets a little colder, I plan to layer it with Romain EDP, and when the dry down comes, I'll add Penhaligon's Penhafor as the final layer.🥀🌫

Unlike Rain, this one doesn't have incredible longevity. But layering helps it last a bit longer.

The fresh and neutral fragrance allows our whole family to use it without gender distinction! The longevity also seems quite decent, lasting around 4 hours.

It's refreshing, but the cucumber scent is stronger than I expected...
