This is the best for soothing easily reddened skin in the summer.
While regular aloe gel only replenishes the surface moisture of the skin, this one replenishes the moisture deep within the skin.

It's a bit on the tacky side. It takes more time to fully absorb compared to other aloe creams, and even after absorption, my hair tends to stick to my face a bit.

Revised 11/22 - While using this product, I noticed that my acne was significantly less visible, and I felt less stressed, so I thought my acne had decreased. As winter was approaching and using this product alone might be too drying, I switched to using it for about 2 months and then transitioned to other skincare products. After stopping the use of this product, my cystic acne gradually started to reappear over the following months, so I decided to repurchase it. I had used this product in the spring-summer, and I'm not sure if the current cystic acne is simply due to the seasonal change or if this product was truly the right fit for me, so I will use it again for a while and provide an update.

I didn't plan to write a review, but I can now compare it to three other aloe vera soothing creams I've tried from other brands. The regular aloe creams absorb very quickly but can be quite drying and uncomfortable, but this one has a nice moisturizing feel, so I've continued using it. In the morning, I apply this cream alone before doing my makeup. As I have combination skin, I only use this one cream.

It does seem to leave a slightly oily or tacky feeling. When my cystic acne was about to flare up, applying this cream seemed to help calm it down. I've recently switched my basic skincare routine to the COSRX line, and I feel like my cystic acne has been less severe this month. This product seems to work well for me.

Those with combination or dry skin may find this cream insufficient even in the summer. While it's refreshing, a supplementary moisturizing product would likely be needed to ensure proper hydration.

Even after applying the essence, there's still a certain dryness. Since it's an oil-free gel type, it doesn't seem to deliver deep hydration to the skin. As a combination skin type, this alone may not be enough for me.

I bought this to use after outdoor activities. The speed at which it absorbs into the skin and the cooling sensation when applied are great. There's no stickiness left after it's fully absorbed.

The application is smooth and soothing, as it contains aloe vera leaf water instead of water, providing an excellent calming effect!!! It's fragrance-free, but has a slight aloe scent.

As the final step in my skincare routine, I lightly apply a small amount all over my face and gently pat it in to help it absorb. Then I apply a more generous layer directly onto my skin and go to sleep, almost like a sleeping pack. This way, the puffiness seems to be reduced or less pronounced the next day.

When I apply it, I tend to use a generous amount, and sometimes it gets into the corners of my eyes, which stings a bit.

The calming effect is amazing. It absorbs quickly, and my skin feels refreshed and less shiny, which is perfect for someone like me who dislikes oiliness. Before bed, I cleanse my face, remove excess oil, and deal with redness and heat. But after applying this cream, the cooling sensation is incredible, and the calming effect is very fast.
