Even in summer, lip balm is essential for dry lips. ✅It provides just the right amount of hydration, making it suitable for frequent application throughout the day and night. ✅The ability to control the amount used allows for hygienic application. If the price were a bit lower, I might have purchased it without hesitation. Apply a thick layer on your lips before bed, and wake up to smooth, moisturized lips the next morning! - 9v*******Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedApr 25, 2025
This is a nice, easy-to-use lip balm. It has that signature L'Occitane scent, and there's really nothing to dislike about it. It applies smoothly without any stickiness! It doesn't feel like you're wearing nothing, but rather leaves a slightly powdery finish? Personally, I was a fan. Just to note, this isn't the type of lip balm you slather on thickly before bed. It's more for occasional use during the day when your lips feel dry. The amount you get for the price... Honestly, it feels like there's not much product, and for a lip balm, the hydration is somewhat mediocre. It would make a nice gift set paired with a hand cream. - hl******Dry SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedMar 29, 2025
I have dry skin and my lips feel extremely parched. After brushing my teeth, they get so dry that I need to apply lip balm immediately. I'm constantly reapplying throughout the day. The L'Occitane Rich Lip Balm has the typical shea butter scent common in lip balms, which isn't my favorite. At first, I was a bit put off by it, but I've gotten used to it with continued use. The texture is transparent and very oily. It's not a tinted lip balm. So, I apply it once on bare lips and then again over lipstick. Rather than directly moisturizing the lips, it seems to create an oil barrier that prevents moisture from escaping. It would be great if there were more scent options. Once I finish this, I plan to try something else. For me, the shea butter scent wasn't pleasant and felt a bit off-putting. - jj**********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinInner DrynessEnlarged PoresFeb 23, 2025
I can't really think of any specific positives... I guess I should be grateful it didn't cause any blemishes? Even after applying multiple layers, my lips are still incredibly chapped. What's the point of using lip balm if it doesn't help? - eu*****Dry SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessRecommendedJan 30, 2025
As someone with exceptionally dry lips year-round, I need an ultra-rich lip balm, especially during fall and winter. My lips get so parched that I have to reapply constantly, which is why I keep a lip balm in every corner of my life - on my vanity, in the living room, bathroom, bedroom, office, and car. I've amassed quite a collection from various brands, but this one caught my eye as it seemed like it would provide intense hydration. The formula strikes a perfect balance between moisture and nourishment when applied to the lips. It feels more hydrating than oily, making it ideal for use throughout the year, except perhaps in the depths of winter. What I love is that it doesn't clump or get sticky with repeated application. Instead, it adheres smoothly to the lips, making it a great base for lip makeup. When I apply it before bed, I wake up to smooth, moisturized lips, and the hydration lasts throughout the day. It's become a staple in my daily mask routine for maintaining that Inner Glow! I'm so satisfied with this product that I can't think of any downsides worth mentioning. - le**********Normal SkinSebum/BlackheadsRecommendedDec 18, 2024
When applied to bare lips, it feels moisturizing and has a pleasant shea butter scent. It strengthens your lips, making them look naturally healthy and plump. There's nothing particularly negative to mention. Since I received it as a gift, I'll be using this lip balm for my lip treatment routine throughout the winter. For those who find it a bit oily, try this trick: give a quick peck on the back of your hand, and you'll get just the right amount. - 96****Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedDec 12, 2024
This is my holy grail lip balm. I discovered they have a tube version while checking the product details to write this review, but I highly recommend the solid stick type. It's not too sticky and doesn't make your lips overly shiny! While those who prefer unscented products might be disappointed, the subtle fragrance is actually quite pleasant. The tube version seems to have oil mixed in, so it probably doesn't feel as stiff, but naturally, the solid stick isn't completely smooth in texture. As a lip balm addict who uses it religiously, the 4.5g size is a bit small. I finished it in less than 3 months. Please make it in a larger glue stick size like other brands! The small size is definitely a downside... Don't leave me so quickly, please! - ki**********Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedDec 7, 2024
I think I've found the perfect lip balm for me! My lips tend to get dry and develop dead skin cells easily, so I always make sure to apply lip balm regularly. As a result, I've come to prefer products that remove dead skin cells and provide intense hydration, and I believe this product is the ideal lip balm for me. It's my first time using a squeeze-tube lip balm, and while it can be applied thickly, it's also easy to apply a thin layer if desired. What I particularly love is that it's so convenient to use without touching it with your hands. I mainly use this product before bed, and one of the reasons is that I feel like it prevents dead skin cells from forming and maintains moisture all day long, even when applied just before sleep. It has the best moisturizing power among all the lip balms I've used so far, and it's also the most effective at removing dead skin cells. When I wake up, the softened dead skin cells can be easily washed off with just water, leaving my lips smooth all day long. Although it was a gift and it's a bit pricey, I want to use it sparingly, but I find myself using it generously because it feels so good to apply! If left unused for a while, the oil tends to separate, but don't worry about it - it's still fine to apply directly to your lips. Since it's oil-based, it can be quite liquid, so at first, I used to wipe it with a tissue before applying. Despite this minor inconvenience, I'm still extremely satisfied with it! - rk****Dehydrated SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessDead Skin CellsRecommendedNov 27, 2024
It causes less of an allergic reaction compared to the Tamburins lip balm I had before I'm dealing with cheilitis, and even this sometimes triggers an allergic reaction - wh******Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedNov 19, 2024
The hydration is truly excellent. The scent is pleasantly subtle. It's a decent option if received as a gift. It feels like it's sitting on top of the lips rather than absorbing. The tube packaging is far too prone to breaking.
