I bought this because it's an organic product that goes on the lips. It's reassuring compared to other products that have caused a fuss. I love how it's moisturizing without feeling greasy. The staying power isn't very long, and if you apply too much, it's hard to fix. Also, once you twist it up, it doesn't go back down.

Just two swipes and my lips feel wonderfully moisturized. Even after drinking water repeatedly, the balm remains, preventing dryness. Unlike many strange products (like Burt's Bees and similar ones) that feel moisturizing at first but leave your lips dry once the balm wears off, this one doesn't do that. Even when it fades, my lips don't feel dry. I think this might become my best lip balm. The texture feels like applying a balm-type product, and the scent is delicious! The relatively simple ingredient list is another plus. I also love that it's colorless. Tinted lip balms tend to dry out over time, so I'm casting another vote for this one that focuses on its primary function as a lip balm. For reference, the formula doesn't have an absorbing feeling. It's more like laying a balm-type cream on your lips. Some people might find it a bit rich, but it doesn't feel greasy or shiny like an oil. It's on the pricier side and not widely available. The soft texture means that after one application, the product can get a bit messy around the opening. You need to apply it gently. While it's highly moisturizing, it doesn't aggressively remove dead skin cells. However, I actually prefer that (since removing dead skin can make my lips more painful, this is exactly the kind of lip balm I want!).
