As someone with a sensitive scalp, I've been exclusively using hair products from iHerb for quite some time. I was on the hunt for a conditioner to overcome the main drawback of my go-to Avalon Organics shampoo - its tendency to leave my hair feeling stiff. After hearing rave reviews about this conditioner, I decided to give it a try, and I've been using it for almost a year now. My hair is naturally wavy with a lot of volume, but this conditioner helps tame it a bit. Since I don't color or perm my hair, I'm not sure if it's performing all the conditioning functions, but what I do know is that the ingredients are great! More importantly, it's non-irritating, and the scent is absolutely amazing! It's not artificial at all, just a lovely, fragrant honey aroma. After showering, I can't help but keep sniffing the lingering scent in the bathroom - it's that good!
The only downside is that it doesn't come in a pump bottle. The thick consistency makes it difficult to dispense into a separate pump bottle too. As a result, it can be a bit inconvenient to squeeze out of the large tube, and it gets tricky when there's not much left inside.
Pro tip: Apply it to your hair, avoiding the scalp, and leave it on for a minute. Living hack: Use a shower cap to keep it from getting wet.
