Plus, the color spectrum was impressively wide. Though, to be fair, this is true for other brands at Sephora as well.
ConsI'm not sure if it just looks dry or if it's actually drying out my skin. I applied it with a puff (maybe that's the issue... I'm a beauty novice). The more I patted it in, the more it lifted. For some reason, it seemed to highlight blemishes I didn't even know I had. When I wore this alone, it felt like new blemishes were popping up as I applied it. It just didn't agree with my skin at all. It was so dry that it didn't blend well. This might be partly due to my lack of technique, but even from a distance, while it looked okay, up close in the mirror you could clearly see where it was applied and where it wasn't.
TipI tried mixing it with moisturizer in a 2:1 ratio (Sephora:cream). This improved the dryness and reduced the emphasis on dead skin cells and blemishes. It even added some glow. However, it felt like the coverage was compromised as a result. When I used it alone, I was too busy dealing with how it accentuated every little imperfection, blemish, and wrinkle to even worry about coverage.
