LANCOME Absolue Rouge [368 Lancome Rose]

The scent is not too bothersome to apply frequently. It can be considered to have a typical cosmetic fragrance. And in terms of application, I've used countless products, but I don't remember any being as moisturizing, pore-smoothing, and soft as this one. It applies so smoothly and pigments well. I also think the longevity is top-notch - it's a real staple product! The color is a bit too intense, so I dab it with a tissue after applying. Since it's so pigmented, it doesn't rub off even when I eat, and the color lasts a long time. The pigmentation is incredible.

The downside seems to be the scent. I think it can be bothersome for some people. The fragrance is quite strong, and it reminds me of my mother's old cosmetics... I really dislike cosmetic scents, so it was a bit of an issue for me.

While it's quite intense to apply directly, if you dab it with a tissue after applying, the color can be built up to create a subtle, natural look. And the fact that it doesn't emphasize any flakiness is something I really appreciate.

I was looking for a lipstick with a mixed color feel, as wearing red lipstick alone felt a bit burdensome. I ended up purchasing the Lancome lipstick, famous for its rose series. The exterior is very luxurious, and the rose-shaped top part is refreshing as it opens with a touch mechanism. The application is very smooth, with a feel that's in between matte and oily lipsticks. The color payoff is good, and while not as long-lasting as a tint, it lasts throughout the morning without needing reapplication. (This is a product I purchased directly.) I'm satisfied and would consider repurchasing.

While it applies smoothly and has a vibrant feel, it does tend to wear off easily, so the price point may be a bit of a concern.

Since it's a red-toned lipstick, it can potentially accentuate any flaky skin on the lips, so be sure to apply lip balm after your base routine to keep your lips moisturized. The color looks the prettiest when applied about three times.
